Please Pray for my great gson,Maddox/Hattie Anne

Hello..I know I'm new here but I feel the need to get the news out about our great grandson,Maddox because he needs all the prayers he can get.He was born Thanksgiving Day 2012 and he stopped breathing within a few minutes of birth.He was quickly flown to Arkansas Children's Hospital.He was diagnosed with CHD/HLHS-He was born with half a heart.He had 2 open heart surgeries,a surgery for a gt button for feeding into his tummy,had 2 blood transfusions and today,he had his 3rd. open heart surgery-the Glen Procedure. There are soo many children these days that are born with this birth defect.There was a law passed just this year for a pulse ox to be used on babies to help detect this defect-thank goodness.He is 10 months old now and wears a newborn shoe and a size 0-3months clothes-soo tiny.He still doesn't nurse the bottle yet but does eat baby food-strained well.As you can tell,he loves hats-lol.Maddox is doing well.Below is what his mommy wrote on his page called Miracles For Maddox in Facebook..

Maddox surgery is over. He did great. The doctor is taking his time closing. His echo is good he is breathing on his on. They are weaning him off his breathing tube. The prayers are working. Thank you God. Please keep him in your prayers.

Maddox's grandma(mommy's mom),his daddy and his aunt Wendy are at the hospital to visit with Maddox and his mommy.Maddox is one happy baby-God is soo good-thank You,Lord.♥

UPDATE ON MADDOX

Maddox's mommy just texted me and said they're on their way home.Yippee!! The Drs. have stipulated that he has to remain at home and that any visitors have to have their flu shots up to date and said no mists-only flu shots.They said that if he gets the flu,he'll have to be hospitalized again and possibly another surgery-oh my goodness! Please keep Maddox and his mommy and daddy in your prayers.His daddy was enroute to see him in the hospital Friday and someone pulled out in front of him totally their car-bummers.Thank you all for your continued prayers from the bottom of my heart.God bless everyone of you and your families always-BIG hugs-Hattie Anne

I know it's a great relief that he is coming come. I pray the daddy is OK after they wrecked.

Thank you all for your kindness,prayers,love and concern. The lil fellow is coming home and I pray he can stay well and away from germs.Right now,his little immune system isn't able to tolerate any germs and viruses..You all have been so loving and kind.I thank each of you from the bottom of my heart.God bless you all
