need for prayer

My dear intercessors in the Prayer Room, let us grasp the opportunity the Holy Spirit gives us here as believing group members and take each prayer request seriously and earnestly call upon God on behalf of these hurting ones, like Sam. The authority and power in prayer and intercession the Lord gives to us, who believe in Him, is laid down plainly by Jesus Christ in the Scriptures.

Jesus stated: "Assuredly, I say to you, whatever you bind on earth will be bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth will be loosed in heaven. Again I say to you that if two of you agree on earth concerning anything that they ask, it will be done for them by My Father in heaven" (Matthew 18:18-19). Also we read in Ephesians 6:10-12: "Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord and in the power of His might. Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this age, against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places."

These are perilous times on the earth and seducing spirits are influencing many into iniquity. Consequently, homes are being devasted by uncaring spouses and rebellious youths, criminals are wreaking havoc on vulnerable people in the society, malice is hardening among neighbours and workmates, and so on, resulting in intense suffering among the victims, who include little children. Natural resources are failing in the face of these growing evil attacks. And so, now is a time of urgency for us the followers of Christ to arise in the authority and power the Lord appoints us in the heaven and on the earth, and stand in the gap for hurting people like Sam here in our group and bind these forces of evil and loose the victims in the name of the Lord.

That doesn't need any showmanship, sensationalism, or big men or women of God. It needs simply those of us with hearts sincerely moved with compassion for these hurting ones to pray and intercede, standing on the declaration of the Scriptures, like the ones I quoted earlier.

And so, may the Holy Spirit stir us to take our places here in the Prayer Room and heed every prayer request brought to us and minister deliverance, and make the Prayer Room a virtual house of deliverance on the worldwide net. God bless all of you.

Thank you so much, your prayers are greatly recieved. God is a God of reconsiliation, and of answered prayers. Thank you all for standing in the gaps for all those in need . To hear that complete strangers who also believe in your Lord Jesus are prepared to pray and stand in the gap goes beyond any comprehension. It proves that God is a living God he remains faithful to those who trust in him.
My husband loves me and the devil will not let him go without a fight the battle has already been won in the heavenlies therefore i praise him.
Go already gave me the scripiture matthew 18 a few weeks back, but when you look at the natural there seems no hope, but Gods promised me reconsilation. I love jesus so much, he has given me so much more than i could have dreamed of waiting and having the patience for my husbands salvation is difficult. i praise and worship god everyday for the amazing things he is doing for me and his great works.
I may be a new christian but if i could turn the clock back to have my life with my husband steve as it was or now i would chose Jesus. I might not have the words or scripture but i know that my prayers are heard and will be answered in Gods timing not mine. I give thanks and pray that each and everyone of you are blessed for your prayers.

I would like to request prayer for my older brother, Tom, in that he be delivered from such a violent temper. His rages are beyond definition. He was brought up in a Bible belieiving church and has joined a sect a few years ago for promotional benefits in his job. He has now retired but still puts the sect ahead of his family, children, and etc. Please pray for his salvation. At this time, I believe, he is under a lot of conviction in knowing that he knows what is truth and etc., but will never admit the sect he is in is detrimental to his whole life.

I want to encourage you to read the book of Isaiah chapter 58, it talks about fasting and the book of mattew chapter 17 when Jesus says this does not go out except by prayer and fasting. God is able to do excedingly abundently more than you can ask for. Fast and pray God's word and I will do that for you too. What God has joined together let no man seperate. I pray the blood of Jesus cover you and steve and when the enemy come that he sees the blood of Jesus and flees. God will turn what the devil meant for evil into good for you and He will perfecteth that which concerns you .
