ANYWHERE U R AND U R NOT GETTING THE WORD OF GOD FROM HIS WORD, THE BIBLE RUN BECAUSE ALL U WOULD BE DOING IS GOING TO HELL FROM THE CHURCH.

I strongly agree with you sister. The importance of the gosspel is to each those who are still in darkness and win them to the kingdom of the light.

Reality there is no perfect visible church... Christian Family is  not perfect... Christian individual is not perfect...

Everything has spot somewhere, since the fall of man. These bad experiences and discoveries should not make us go away from the body of Christ, visible or invisible but it should make us more closer to Him. Pastors and ministers are not alike. Please talk to your spiritual father before making any concrete decisions. Seeking God, reading alot more than the SOLA SCRIPTURA, more often put us in the cross roads. He is the way - hard times in the crossroads, He is the truth - most commentaries confuse us, He is the light - make us more knowledgeable of Him.  Hold on to your love BIBLE and just put away any other books and online commentaries. Always be on your knees before the Lord and if you can stand again for the Sola Scriptura don't be afraid God is with you,He will never leave you nor forsake you. In the mighty name of our Lord Jesus Christ i pray that He will hold you tight in His loving hand and never ever let you go whatever happens. Amen. God bless michelle. tnx

Michelle,

The main thing that a person should consider about any church is.....do they preach and teach the Word of God? If they do not, one needs to vacate that church.

Rick Warren speaks out of both sides of his mouth. One minute he defends God's Word and the next he speaks against it. He demonstrates TO ME that he is wanting his cake and eating it too. There are numerous TV evangelists that do this...but not all of them.

God's Will for you is written in His Book. When we follow what He writes, we are demonstrating His Will for us.

I have similar issues as yourself regarding the church I currently attend. My prayer for you is that you find a church that teaches God's Word and also fulfills your need.

Amen Michelle, thats is very sure. When a church preaches what is contrary to Gods word we need to be very careful. The word has to be given the way it has been given to us by our creator not adding to it or subtracting to from it.

For what it’s worth, I believe you did the right thing by refusing to compromise on the word of God. I admire this about you. I work to be more like you in this area. Jesus also refused to compromise. We should at least strive to be like him. If that means we won't be liked by some, which is just too bad for them, then so be it. American culture is terrified of offending the opinions of the world, but has no problem whatsoever offending God. We have become a people who stand for nothing. Please Note: I am not being pious here, but rather I am being rational. Look at our society. People don't even know right from wrong anymore, since everything is now permissible. As a result people now think that it’s ok to step on others or trick others, or even kill others, to get what they want. They call it "being slick"......Take a stand against a watered down truth or a watered down version of the gospel where ever and whenever you can Michelle. Onward Christian soldier! We need more like you.

god be with you.  pray and ask god to guide you in your Jurney.  No matter who you are or where you are on your faith Juroney you are loved by God and welcomed here.  remember open harts open minds open doors-the people of the united methodest church- remember he is always with you. Michelle, I'm sure you have asked God on where to go.  For me, I went back to the church I left 20 years ago, still preaching the good news of Jesus Christ.

I am planted there now. 

I'll simply be praying for you to find a new church home. And get planted, as a tree by a river!

For what ever your reason is for leaving your church, I left my church fo 1 yearand left again for 6 months and came back. now I am committed! to my church and here I will remain as a piller! of the church and a tree of life I am  now planted there. and preach the word and maintain the grounds as a wittness. I made a choice! this is where God wants me to shine my light toshare hs word and deciple others I do this now
