Healing Prayer

Diane,

I don't think there is any one certain prayer to take care of all our needs. Go in faith, trusting God to be with you and to lead you as you pray for your husband. I went through this with my dad. Everyone is different. He was so unlike what he had been. It was heartbreaking. My prayer was to God to either heal him or take him. God did take dad through some very unusual circumstances of which none of us were expecting. I was in the room when dad took his last breath and entered into the very presence of God's son. God is good and He will meet your need. I wish I had some magic to tell you about but I don't. I know God will be with you as He was with us. God will take care of your husband. I pray He will also take care of you. I know how sad you are. God is right there with you. I pray God will lead you and strengthen you and may He bless you with His love. Be encouraged. Keep the faith. What you are experiencing is normal. Blessings to you.

Thank you so much Roy, that means a lot.  I am so sorry for what you went through to and if you ever need to talk please, you know where I am.  It was wonderful that you were there when your Dad took his last breath.  Was it frightening or peaceful?  I am afraid I am not good with death and find it frightening but at the same time I have prayed a few times that God takes him Home to Him.  My headache has been really strong today so I will go to the gym and see Gordon tomorrow.  Its too late to order to have dinner with him - they have it at 5pm.  Well, thank you again, and take care, keep strong.  God bless you always.  Diane
