The Lord has anointed me…to bestow on them…a garment of praise instead of a spirit of despair. Isaiah 61:1, 3
In Isaiah, we are shown a special "designer" fashion that God has created for each of us—a garment of praise. If you consciously put on this garment every morning, making praise your deliberate choice, everything that happens to you must come through this divine buffer. Everything from snail-paced check-out lines to aching arches to burned cookies. Garments of praise—what have you been wearing this Advent season?
