Confusion of Mind (prayer request)

I never want to sound like I'm whining about my life. I mean I could probably go on and on about how things don't feel right with me. Also sometimes my prayer life seems 'ok' and other times it isn't. Often times I don't think I lean on the Lord enough, but instead I lean on nothing. And Like I am leaning on nothing (luck) it feels like I am leaning on nothing. Today I tried to pray, and all that would come out is "God I'm Confused" Amen. The reason I decided to post this request is because there is lots of times I walk away from work feeling confused and indifferent about everything. I try to talk to the Lord about it, but usually this doesn't get any better. I wonder if it isn't my learning disability kicking in when I'm tired. Also lately at work I've been feeling scared. It seems like the least little thing can get some of these people upset, and that then translates to my boss and then I get a talking too. If you got room to add this to your prayer list. Please do.

Father,

I pray for Gregory. I ask that You help him through this difficult part of his life. Help him not to despair but to understand that he will not always be walking through this valley. I'm not sure if I understand his learning disability. Whatever it is, he seems to have worked hard to overcome it and is very affective with his writing. I pray that You can give him the hope He needs that this will be over. In Jesus name.

That was your prayer? "God I'm confused." That's fine. :)

Remember God knows your heart. He understands you even when you don't know what to say. The Holy Spirit turns what we say and sends it back to our Father and Jesus. He helps us to pray.

I understand brother. :hugs: I've had a harder time praying before as well. There's been times I could only get out words like "God help" or "Please,Jesus save them."

Dear brother, our Lord always hears us when we call; it is us who do not hear Him. I pray that the Lord will open your spiritual ears to hear whatever he is telling you. I also pray that he opens your spiritual eyes to see all that he wants you to see. Gregory, you are no different from any of us; we are all struggling everyday to see God's plans for us. He knows our fears and our worries and He is always ready to respond. Brother, trust Him in spite of everything. Do not give up because He never gives up on us. Look up to Him to work His pupose out for you
