Welcome sis kaya. With God there are no coincidences He works it all for His glory. So He has led you to a healthy community.

There are a lot of things to be thankful for including our singleness. It is the best time to work on self and seek the kingdom of our Lord and all His righteousness, so we can be in a place to be the right person for the mate has designed for us.

Beloved I am going to speak my heart to you. I do not subscribe to the holier than thou baloney, so that is not my attitude when sharing and if you feel that I am out of line please let me know and I will delete my response and tone it down. I have a feeling however that you are both a tough woman with thick skin and gentle also as a child of God that you are, so bare with me beloved.

If you do not see marriage potential in a bloke you should not be with him. As children of the most high we should not be involve in relationships with people who do not serve our God. Fellowship sis. Find a healthy Christian church with sound doctrine and work on yourself for now. There is nothing sexier and beautiful on earth apart from God than a Godly woman. Let the word of God renew your mind and your desires and priorities. Your insecurities and fears must be dealt with before you embarked in a relationship. Find your joy in the Lord for His joy is our strength and you will see clearly then.

Girl reactor boots would cause some damage hahaha so take it easy with your bro ok hehe.

Beloved change for God and you primarily and all else will fall in place as you seek the kingdom and all His righteousness.

Sis start to fellowship around Christians and it will happen. You have so, so much to give. Fellowship in a healthy Christian church and you will see the hand of God in your life not only in the area of marriage, but in all aspects of your life. Let Him have His way in your life.

i have a pair of new rock reactor boots which weigh almost half a stone (know the ones i mean?) so dont worry about getting a kick off me david, theyd probably break your ankle lol.
seriously though, i dont want to change what i am to become someone who wants to look for a relationship unless a nice chap comes and sweeps me off my feet and that will take one hell of a man lol

Clare, whatever your situation is, hold on to God's promise as what I have been doing and it will help vanish insecurities and fears about the future. it's a good place to be in... in God's comfort and embrace, in times of darkness and dry spells. It was prayer that held me firmly on the ground as I walked through a recent (or not so recent) heartbreak in my life. And the promise that God will soon allow me to see the better days of my life...

" "The days are coming" , says the Lord, "when grain will grow faster than it can be harvested, and grapes will grow faster than the wine can be made. The mountains will drip with sweet wine, and the hills will flow with it." --- (Amos 9: 13)

I expect God's grace of abundance in all aspects of my life! I know I falter in my faith often times, but I just try keep His words in mind.

David, thank you for your kind and comforting words. It is perhaps just unfortunate that most guys I mingle with do not have the criteria of a Godly woman in mind when they choose the girl they would like to pursue. Most focus on the physical and the external... and so for some time, I have forgotten how I should work towards being Godly and seek the same in the man I would fall for. But with God's grace... I think I shall be working towards that now.

Hey Rocker chick (Angels & Demons),

There are Godly men still on the face of the earth though it may appear to some sisters that they have all been rapture or are already taken. The thing is that in order to get a Godly man, the woman has to be a Godly woman, by no means am I suggesting you are not, please do not be offended or kick me hahaha cause that is not what I am saying, I am just saying. I am truly sorry about the abuse you suffer, but not every guy is abusive. You just got to abide in the word, so your discernment by the Spirit can raise flags when things are not right. If you trust Jesus, trust Him to give you the wisdom as you abide in Him to wait and choose right next time. And don't go dating heathen’s girl hahaha

Sis being happy and close to someone is real for you and for everyone else in the world, but one must do away with insecurities and fears which are impossible to overcome at times without the renewing of the mind by the washing of the word. Get in the word sis, and then the impossible will become possible as your faith soars.

Love to you sis. All will be well if you cry out to Jesus and resist the fiery darts the enemy throws at us.

Hey- I thought you said you didn't let a man get within a mile of you and now you tell us your bloke has alot to work with hahaha Girl... Is he a Christian? Is he someone you can pray, study and fellowship with?
