i understan what you are saying matthias, we cant see in our partners what others can see because we become personally involved, the only way one can see is by doing a bit of self couselling, my friend, ex friend used to do it with me when i was having problems with relationships and couldnt work out what was going on in my head, i cant say anything to you as i dont know your situation

mmmmh there is lot of sense in your statements, Angel, people are having lots of ronlems with this issue around the world. Sometimes you see future in the one you think is right for you, and others just can't see the possibility of you going on, What I mean is that many elders or friends come in the relationship of two people who suppose to marry in fews years to come and they say no!! you can't marry that one, she might not be the right partiner for you as the servant of God. you see, the man or the girl gets confused about this, HOW DO YOU REALLY HELP ON THIS MATTER, I have many friends in conditions like this, you just wonder how you can rightly help such kind of situations !! uh !! thanks Angel !!
Hey bro I am not sure that I understand fully what you are trying to say, but what is generally meant by "Love is blind" is that when a person is in love, they tend to ignore/over look the short comings of their mate.

That is not wise and one should never fall in love with someone until a lot of healthy interaction and communication has occurred.

As Christians we should only date those people we see potential for marriage in, we do not date to have someone to go out with or to get rid of the loneliness. We date servants of God that we see has qualities we desire on our wife/husband.

Then we go about the business of getting to know them. Talk about real issues. What do they think about kids? What are their Spiritual gifts? Pray, study and fellowship with them. What do they think about finances, join accounts or separate accounts once marry?

People get caught up talking about their favorite color etc very superficial things which one should know, but they hardly ever get down to real business. Talking about their weaknesses and their strengths etc..,

Love should not be blind. Love should be between people who have consider whether they can see themselves growing old with the individual and whether the individual is someone that you can serve God with.

Now - seeing something unique in the person you are with is indispensable. She should be the most beautiful woman to you.

Blessings beloved
Thanks David, you have applied great wisdom on this matter, I see that you understand what i mean by reading what you sent me, you know what I have friends being told to leave and find another girl to marry, and I wonder what that mean't, especially elders do this for the juniors, It may be that the girl meet your conditions to become a good wife as a servant of God, but others can't see that, because you are the one who has interacted and have done all the communication with that girl. I just wondered whether its right to tell somebody to completely leave the girl as you wish or think its right, is this good counselling to the person in this condition ?? Or how can you help the person see or find the right partner for life especially the one who already have a girlfriend but you think or sense she might not be the right partner for the young man, you understand what I'm saying ?? hope so. you have helpe alot, thanks, this is to the glory of the father !!
Hello Matthias.. I think its more important to seek confirmation from the Lord as opposed to man about who you marry. If the Holy Spirit says no then its DEFINETLY a NO!!

Because sometimes we humans don't look at the heart as God does.. we only see the outward... Abba God knows the right wife for your friend.. If she is the one for him..God will confirm it if he asks Him..

That's a great answer David. Since becoming a Christian, I never saw the point in just dating someone without looking toward a future with that person in Christ. Just dating and hanging out can get you into a lot of trouble if you are not careful.

Brother Matthias I have come back here once again, happy to see u are part here still.

No one and no one but God should tell u who to marry.  I believe that Gods mate for us is the perfect

mate.  If we have someone we feel we are in love then still seek Gods approval and when u get a peace

after seeking God on your partner then I believe it is from him.

People are human even pastors, reverends, bishops and the like christian counseling by the senior pastor can be good but not their place I feel to Judge or talk against unless it is serious issues they know about.

Blessings sis dee
