that mystery to life's one question
i used to scream at every direction,
when the day had run it's course
i came to find that i was hoarse
and tired of the question
so i set myself at ease,
a life of solitary means,
nothing would bring me joy, nothing could hurt me anymore
but i was wrong, the song still played, of lonliness and aching pain,
self absorbed, and cornered in, the question rose again,
all my thoughts still answered false
creating webs of massive faults
the question led to asking; who?
then brokedown to asking; how?
with one clear answer, i heard the sound,
I AM the Way, by which your found,
I AM the Truth, that shines on you,
I AM the Life, that makes you new
Jesus loves me, even when i never cared, thank you for loving me
and saving me from a life of nothingness, forgive me for not loving you
from me
