Today’s devotional is a testimony, praise report and a devotional all rolled into one. Last year as I sat upon the rocks on Lake Huron the day before I left to come back home from my vacation and visiting my mother, I prayed!! I prayed and asked our Father “how many more times will I have to leave this place that I do not want to leave?” It was getting harder and harder for me to do so with every passing year of visiting there. I asked Him, would I ever be able to just stay there? He answered me with these five words “within two years, my child!” I knew it was His voice with the peace that flooded over me as I sat there! The peace that passes all understanding was unmistakable. Last night He opened the door just when I thought I was at the end of myself, when all was looking impossible. I never forgot that prayer and His answer although lately I was beginning to feel it was a hopeless situation, temporarily forgetting that He IS our hope. Forgive me Father for my faltering faith in Your Word! YOU ARE EVER FAITHFUL!! Last night I received a job offer there; God works in very mysterious ways and answered this prayer after a spontaneous comment sent to a restaurant rating website and not so much as a resume was sent. it has been 14 months since that day God spoke to me. Even though this child was getting impatient He stayed true to that promise. Father God, thank You for all You have done for me. Thank You for loving me, for Your patience with me and Your faithfulness. Thank You for Your strength that carried me even when I was losing hope. Thank You Lord for not allowing me to wander for forty years in the wilderness to reach the land of milk and honey!! In Jesus most precious Name, AMEN!!

My Prayers are with you all in all of your needs this day and always. I know it is difficult sometimes(believe me ,I REALLY DO know). We have to always try to remember how much "worry" is a wasted emotion and a waste of time.And this one thing we can count on:
"...For I know the plans I have for you," declares the Lord,
"Plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future..."

PSALM 92 DEVOTIONAL
So often in the rush of our daily lives we forget to praise our Lord and thank Him for all that is in our lives and for life itself. How deeply is Jesus in our hearts? Just for an example, do we remember what it is like to be in love with someone? How we cannot get that person out of our minds all day no matter what we are doing and it is even difficult to concentrate on anything else? All day long we anticipate getting back to that person to be with them again but we carry them around in our minds and in our hearts all the while. Do we carry that same love for Jesus with us throughout the day, anticipating our alone time with Him when we get back home? Do we stop and thank Him for even just a moment in that daily rush for all He has given us, especially through the tough moments when troubles come our way? That love will sustain us through those times and for that alone we have plenty to be thankful to God for. He is most certainly our ROCK!!! THANKYOU LORD FOR YOUR STRENGTH, YOUR MERCY, YOUR FAITHFULLNESS AND FOR YOUR UNFAILING LOVE!! AMEN!!

God, I pray that you help me replace negative thoughts with loving ones. Lord, give me the strength to do Your will and not mine. Lord i pray as we travel the U.S., show us a good church to attend! In Jesus name i pray...amen!

God i thank You for sending your only Son to the wolrd to save us and not forsake us. Everyone, including Christians have doubt at one point or another and i would like to ask You to help us through our doubts, spritual attacks and against those that are against You. God, your mercy and Your love beat all. No one can amount to You and i am very thankful to have You. Heavenly Father, give me the strength i need to keep going forward and not back slide. Help me control my thoughts and resist temptation. Lord, help me love as you would love and forgive as you would forgive. Show me the way Lord so that i can fulfill YOUR will and not mine. My will is no where as important as yours and You know all. Lord, guide me, and show me the way so that i can please YOU!
