Our God’s tender love for us makes him concerned for the state of our innermost feelings. He wants us all to be of good courage. Some think it is a small thing for a believer to be troubled with doubts and fears, but God thinks not so. From this above scripture it is plain that our Heavenly Father would not have us besieged with fears. He would have us without carefulness, without doubt, without cowardice. God does not think so lightly of our unbelief as we do. When we are despondant we are subject to a grieving heart, not to be left to dig its way further into our hearts, but to be carried at once to Our beloved Father, our Great Physician. Our Lord does not love to see us sad. It was a law of Ahasuerus that no one should come into the king’s court dressed in mourning. But with God this is not the law of the King of kings, for we may come mourning as we are; but still He would have us peel off the spirit of heaviness, and put on the cloak of praise, for there is much reason to rejoice in Him. A Christian man should be of a courageous spirit, in order that he may glorify the Lord by enduring trials in the face of all and any adversity. If we are fearful and fainthearted, it will dishonour our God. Besides, what a bad example that would be much less hide His Light. Doubtfulness and discouragement is like a disease, an epidemic which spreads amongst the Lord’s flock quickly. One downcast believer makes twenty souls sad. Unless your courage is kept up Satan will be too much for you. Let your spirit be joyful in God your Saviour, the joy of the Lord shall be your strength, and no fiend of hell shall make headway against you: but cowardice throws down the banner. Labours are light and not so burdensome to a man of cheerful spirit; and success and blessings wait upon cheerfulness. The man who labors, rejoicing in his God, believing with all his heart, has success guaranteed. He who sows in hope shall reap in joy. So take this scripture to heart as we take all of God's Words to us “be thou strong, and very courageous.”

THANKS GOD
God is soooooooooo good!!!
I praise Him in the storms and trials of this life that He has brought me through,
from the tops of the mountains , from the depths of the valleys.
Our God has healed me of anger, bitterness, guilt and shame.
He has replaced broken hearts and broken dreams with JOY AND HOPE.
He has carried me through the shadows of death,
flown with me with wings that once were broken
and taught me how to fly again.
He has given to me a new song,
a new spirit that darkness cannot and will not ever penetrate.
He has given me life eternal,
restored my faith,
shown me that good does indeed prevail over evil.
He lifts me high above hurt, pain and sickness.
He carries me when the road gets long
and I become weary in this human body.
He has shown me His miracles
each and every day.
Each new day is a testimony of His faithfulness
His Grace, His deep abiding love.
He has answered so many prayers in my life
delivered me from what seemed like impossible situations
to even what most of us, including myself
sometimes take for granted.
He makes every single day a testimony
Healing the smallest afflictions,
comforting the smallest hurts
drying tears of sorrow
and replacing them with tears of joy.
I can ask for anything in Jesus most precious Name
He has gladly taken, sickness
worries, stress, difficult times
and made them His own.
He has taken my everyday burdens on Himself
given me inspiration to find the answers
to my every question and dilemma.
He is here for me, every day
He never leaves me nor forsakes me.
FOR ALL THESE THINGS,
I THANK YOU GOD!!!!!
YOU ARE EVERYTHING TO ME
EVERY DAY, EVERY HOUR, EVERY WAKING MOMENT
