All About GOD

All About GOD - Growing Relationships with Jesus and Others

PSALM 54

Sometimes in this life and in this world we feel as though we are surrounded by our enemies, waiting to devour us and tear us apart, kind of like Daniel in the lions den. What do you do when you feel “set upon” by many who seek to destroy and oppress you? Do you “scurry and worry.” I know that sometimes I do! Daniel was not harmed in the lions den, surrounded by lions that would normally tear a man apart.HOW AWESOME IS THAT!!!  The Lord was with him! I have found in my own journey with Jesus that worry is useless and most of all “faithless.” We are God’s children and if we are to truly believe in His promises, then we can truly believe He will protect us and lead us through any darkness or evil that threatens to overcome us. The next time you are going through this in your life, just pray!!! God will be there with His comfort, He will give you His strength and He WILL deliver you. Put all your faith in Him because if you really think about it God loves you and He hates evil,so with the most powerful force in the Universe on your side,”who ya gonna call?”

He has delivered us out of the depths of sin and darkness and filled us with Joy and light so lets all replace our scurry and worry with “Praise and Faithfulness.”

LORD BLESS US ALL!! AMEN!!

Psalm 54 (King James Version)

Psalm 54

1Save me, O God, by thy name, and judge me by thy strength.

2Hear my prayer, O God; give ear to the words of my mouth.

3For strangers are risen up against me, and oppressors seek after my soul: they have not set God before them. Selah.

4Behold, God is mine helper: the Lord is with them that uphold my soul.

5He shall reward evil unto mine enemies: cut them off in thy truth.

6I will freely sacrifice unto thee: I will praise thy name, O LORD; for it is good.

7For he hath delivered me out of all trouble: and mine eye hath seen his desire upon mine enemies
