DON’T HIDE THE LIGHT

In today’s society there seems to be so much rush, rush and if the world seems crazy with stress and tension running rampant it’s because it is!
Since being blessed with the employment I prayed to God about over a month ago it has placed me right in the middle of all the craziness that is THIS WORLD at its pace of insanity.
Thanks God, I am getting a bird’s eye view!!!
I see ambition at its worst, I see greed take over the hearts of men and I see so many people running and just coping to keep up with their lives.
The worst part about all of this is the fact that this stress, anxiety and tension does not seem to help much in creating friendly human relations, in fact it rubs off from the first guy in the grocery line up who is having a bad day to the woman behind him who is getting impatient and irritated just listening to him.
Thank you Lord that I can come to you in Prayer before this world can make a dent in the peace, comfort and light that You have given me.
We all have that light in us to show to the world for the Glory of our Heavenly Father and what a waste it would be to hide that light when it can touch the lives of so many around us who need it.
Showing God's light has become such a powerful compulsion in my mind, heart and soul as I know it is for all of us with His Spirit inside.
When asked "What’s your secret to staying so uplifted even in the face of those who want to rip your smile right off of that same face?"
My response "JESUS, MY FRIEND!!!!" When they hear this the reaction varies from one person to the next but one thing that is common with each and every one of them is that it plants a seed , at least in their mind to start.
We are not completely immune in our day to day lives but we know the friend we have in Jesus and He is with us always to lift us back up again when and if we start to wilt.
We are kind of like flowers that way in that we need to stop and take a drink from the Cup of Living Water to refresh us once again.
Nobody can steal the joy that lives inside of us. That Joy is from God, the All Powerful and Almighty!!!
Nobody can snuff out the light. That light is God's light and He wants us to share it.


MATTHEW 5:14-16
14 YOU ARE THE LIGHT OF THE WORLD. A CITY ON A HILL CANNOT BE HIDDEN.
15 NEITHER DO PEOPLE LIGHT A LAMP AND PUT IT UNDER A BOWL. INSTEAD THEY PUT IT ON ITS STAND, AND IT GIVES LIGHT TO EVERYONE IN THE HOUSE.
16 IN THE SAME WAY, LET YOUR LIGHT SHINE BEFORE MEN THAT THEY MAY SEE YOUR GOOD DEEDS AND PRAISE YOUR FATHER IN HEAVEN.

So if darkness threatens to overcome you,
BLIND IT!!!!!
