Forgivness of Sin

To many times we as Christians try to go to God and want our sins
forgiven when In reality they have all ready been forgiven. Its as
the bible says in Psalm 32:1-2 says "Blessed is the one whose
transgressions are forgiven, whose sins are covered. Blessed is the man                                                                                                                                                                                                               whose sin the Lord does not count against them , and in whose spirit
there is no deceit." So many Christians always want to go to God with
a heavy heart. They feel that Christ could never love them or forgive
them even though they were all ready forgiven on the cross when
Jesus said in Luke 23:34 "Then said Jesus, Father forgive them; for
they do not know what they are doing." You see Jesus forgive us once and for
all on the cross. Every hit Jesus took when beaten, even up to the
time of the nails Jesus forgave our sins. It says also in Isiah 53:4-
5 "Surely he took up our pain and bore our suffering, yet we
 considered him punished by God, stricken by him, and afflicted. But he was
  pierced for our treansgreeions, he was crushed for our inuiqities;
the punishment that brought us  peace was on him; and with his wounds we
are healed." You see Jesus took up every sin ever known to mankind.
Theres a story of a woman who went to he pastor one day and said "I
had a dream last night and I think I saw Jesus but Im not sure. The
pastor said 'If you have the same dream ask Jesus what sins I have
committed.' That night the woman went home and had the dream. The
next day she went to her pastor with her head held low, and the
pastor said 'Whats wrong?' The woman said 'I had the dream last
night.' and the pastor said 'What did he say?' the woman said 'The
man said 'I have Forgotten.' the pastor told her 'That was Jesus."
Isnt it great to know that Jesus forgives that much? You see when we
become a Chtristian Jesus forgives so much and cares so much that he
forgets about our sins. When we go to ask Jesus about our sins HE
says "What sins?" Its as in the book of Psalm "the lord has forgoten
as far the east is from the west." So next time you feel doewn and
out just remember that Jesus has forgiven you so far is the east is
from the west.
