Israeli Troops in Gaza
I am concerned about the biases shown by the general public toward Israel, as they're singled out and are blamed totally for causing the terror in Gaza. However they've been defending their citizens from aggresive rocket fire into south of Israel, Sderot,Beersheva, etc.
Even after the agreement to stop fire, Israel has conceded it is a one sided cease fire. The Palestinian side is not happy with that, they continue to fire rockets into Isarel and will not stop firing. In one report they indicate not until " the last Zionists and all Israel tanks are out of GAZA and open all borders, will Hamas stop firing rockets.
The media is to blame since they only cover the hurt children, but the public does not know that many of these cases are pre-arranged by Hamas, oftentimes the parents are given compensation for an injury and a higher mount in case the child dies.
I do not like that innocent get hurt, but The other side has not corresponded as easily as topping the harrassment against Israel.
They were firing these rockets prior to them forced to defend themselves.

There are lots of things we may not understand fully about these conflicts which arise among humanity and why men choose to resolve their conflicts with brutal war. One thing we who are Christians can do is to seek to follow the clear guidance of the Lord Jesus Christ regarding our role in this world of conflicts. Our Lord Jesus Christ made it clear that as Sons of God in Christ He expects us to be peacemakers. We can do that by prayer and through the ministry of reconciliation God has given us to turn humanity, both Jews and Gentiles, who are in enmity against God, to the peace of God in Christ.
Matthew 5:9: "Blessed are the peacemakers, For they shall be called sons of God." -
