I received a little present in the mail today. A DVD from Joyce Meyer Ministries. I did not order it. There was no name on it or anything just my email address and my mailing address and no balance due. If you re hurting cannot let go of the past I encourage you to get this you can get it at www.joycemeyer.org The DVD is called - God's Comfort Receiving God's Help to Overcome Great Loss. It's about an hour long program. It has opened my eyes is a way I cannot even express or explain. someone knew I needed this and whom ever it was I pray the Lord bless them, because this sure blessed me. Thank you Suzi

Dear Lina,
I have done that since the year 2003 which is when this problem started. I have been very close to committing suicide. I found the strength to not kill myself, but I do not know how to get rid of the guilt. It is not easy and I do not wish this on anyone. I only wish that I could at least loose some of this guilt. I f you have a suggestion on how to handle this please let me know. I currently do pray everyday, spend at least an hour in the Bible, and I praise God for everything. I have been saved and baptized. I do not know what else I can do. Please help?

I would love to let go of the past, but it keeps coming back everytime I have an anxiety attack or tremor. Kind of makes it hard to let it go. But I have learned to laugh and work with it. I mean seriosly I have tremors it stinks, but I can make a great shaken martini. :o) If you loose you sense of humor dwell on things you cannot change it will destroy you. And why on earth give the devil that type of satisfaction? I am not going to. I have rough days and so will you it's part of life you can and will make it through this, by the Power of God it will happen.

Lindsey, I know how u feel. The only suggestion I have is God. Prayer. Keep on praying. Reading the bible. Its not easy way. The easy way is selfish. Change ur life from what it was to be new in Christ.

I have found out why I am so negative. I only wish I could find a way to deal with it now to where I do not have all of this guilt. If you have any suggestions please let me know. I will try anything once.

I like that! Offer up whats bothering us to God. Let go and Let God. HOw wonderful that would be. The scars are deep and the wounds wont heal. I know what Grazer is going through. I too am hunted by my dreams day and night. Its gotten to the point were i pray that I dont remember them at all but I know if God wants me to know something he will tell me. Lord I offer what is hunting me up to you. Lord will you help me overcome my fears my shame my scars...In Jesus name I pray Amen

grazer, i think all it is is that because she has been part of your life shes in your memory.
you cant delete whats in there. dreams are from your subconciousness, all sorts get brought up.
all you can do is if its bothering you, offer it up to God. dont dwell on your dreams as that brings the subconcious, consious.

I think the same thoughts everyday. How do i let go of the past. How do I let go of my past shame and guilt. THen I turn to God in prayer and worship and I can tell you at that moment when I pray with all my heart and I know that I was wrong, there is a peace over me and in me and there is no past just me and God. Him working in me through me. Givving me Jesus and the reason to go on!!!Faith. I would like for everyone to read Romans. All of it again. Read and listen for God is merciful.
Suzi, talk to God write it down all of it everyday write to God. Give him all your fears all your stress your health..He will take care of them..one day at a time..did not Jesus tell us not to worry about tomorrow..To give him our burdens that his are lighter...Let go Suzi and let God..I know how you feel and everyday I pray to let go and one day at a time I do because me faith is growing and I believe in Him..Amen

O.k. here is my thing. I am saved and Spirit Filled. I was engaged to the most wonderful man in the world. I did not know it was truely possible to be in love with someone that much. We were engaged for 2 1/2 years and on 2/27/10 at 4pm I watched him take his last breath due to Melanoma cancer and go be with the Lord. Now. That has set off anxiety I did not know possible and now I have been diagnosed eith a Bengin Esstential Tremmor (no Cure) can control with medication. My dog of 12 years who loved my fiance & is my therapy dog is about to go over the Rainbow Bridge and my father is on Oxygen and has 21% lung capacity. And I am on partial disability and only getting paid 60% when I am off. My friends & and I joke that I would make a great shaken martini. I know the Lord is my best friend and He is my Father, but how do I deal with these disastorious hurts on a daily basis? I try my hardest to keep a positive attitude and keep the laughes coming, but I get down and want to stick my head it in sand & never come out. Suggestions please?????
