Struggling with anger
I have struggled with keeping my anger in check my whole life. Lately, it has been worse. It seems like every time I start to grow closer to God satan tries to pull me back into darkness. As of recent I have been anger often, sometimes over almost nothing. Many times I am just angry with the state of the world. Advice and Prayers needed. Thanks
Ephesians 4:31-32 says, "Get rid of all bitterness, rage, anger, harsh words, and slander, as well as all types of malicious behavior. Instead, be kind to each other, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, just as God through Christ has forgiven you."

I have gone through the same thing in my life. Everytime I start to get closer with God, the Devil pulls me back by tempting me to Identify with my thoughts and not with God's thoughts. He was making me think that it was my earthly father's fault for me being pulled away away from God, but it was really the devil. I am closer to God now then I have been in my entire life just because I resited the devil and believed what God was telling me about his love for me!!!!! If you can tell God that you resit the devil, you will be closer than you have ever been in you life. Trust me, I experienced seeing God's love by doing that.
