FORGIVING

My wife and I have been married for 24 years and recently told me she does not love me anymore.She does not want to hurt or harm me or my children and at times even says she is not sure of her feelings.She asked me to divorse her and is at times questioning that.I have been praying for her and myself and have placed the situation in the Hands of God.She will tell me what a wonderful husband I am,Im really confused and need advise.I do love her and dont want to lose her and at times wonder if that has not already happened for good.She is a Christian with and has been her whole life.She says there is something in her that cannot forgive me.She has never been harmed physically by me however says the loanliness and rejection at times was too much.She also says she cannot trust me and that I will go back to my old ways.Is she beyond forgiveness and I dont want to let her go how does one deal with this

Thankyou, I have just finshed reading the article and realised my short comings and when I say short comings I mean it.I have prayed the prays provided and trust it is not too late.By the mercy of God I beleive He will forgive me and allow me to fulfill my role as the man, He created in His image.I thankyou as well for taking the trouble to share such revelant information with me and that Im can build on my errors and that more men could put there pride in there pockets and cherish what they have as it might be too late as we only realise what we had once we have lost it.

First of all get with your pastor or a very good and knowledgeable christian friend and let God take it from there. Maybe even see if she wants to see a Christian Counselor with you. Maybe there is something going on that she cannt handle and does not know how to deal with and running away from the problem seems like a safer way of dealing with it. The last 9 months of my live recently have been a huge slice of hell. But I cannot let my faith in God waiver and boy is it hard. Try the suggestions the worse she can says is no. I have always believed it is better to have tried and failed than not tohave tired at all. God bless you Suzi.

Thankyou, I have already done what you have suggested and there is an improvement in the situation.We are both praying for the situation and that God lead us in the right direction,even its not exactly what we want however what He has designated for us and will give us the guidance that we require.Its my firm belief that things take time if it be His will.Thankyou once again for your thoughts and as I always ask people to pray for the situation as I do the same for them as there problems could be a lot greater than mine.
