Rough Edges

Dear Almighty Father,

Hello!  I LOVE YOU SO MUCH.  You are so AWESOME and GOOD, GRACIOUS & FORGIVING...I am so blessed that you have chosen to ADOPT ME as your daughter.  I was so happy to come to your house today & worship you Father - I could feel your LOVE & COMFORT envelope me as I was praying.  YOU ARE AMAZING my LORD!!!

I have to say Father that I was struggling this past Friday, I got a bit stressed out by other people at work, and just too much to do in too little time.  As you know - I have been praying for patience - and while I feel that you have turned my life around the I feel so AMAZING most of the time - I still have a few rough edges.

I'm also having a really tough time with my new found Christianity - there are people in my life that are VERY close to me - that came right out and told me NOT TO push this on them...I didn't think that I was.

I do speak a lot about how you have helped me, and how grateful I am - but it's only because I am EXCITED about it - and want to SHARE it with the people I LOVE.  I know when the time is right - you will tell me how to handle it - until then - I have to be PATIENT. 

My husband is also struggling with his addiction, and he's confused about a lot of things he's reading in your word.  He's asking me questions - and I answer him the best I can - but I told him that he would be better off talking to Pastor Gary - and best off praying to YOU for UNDERSTANDING of your word.  Pastor Gary, with his wife and I prayed to you today - to help Carl with his struggles - I know you are working you miracles with him Lord - I trust you 200%.

Lord finally please continue to guide me on the path you want me to follow.  Let your spirit fill my heart and speak my words. 

Lord - I hope that you have a great night - I'll talk to you tonight -  before I lay my head down to sleep.
