amen my sister for this is my morning prayer
Throughout the day, as your desire to get more done in less time moves in, and stress tries to take over, repeat your prayer. Soon you'll discover that handing the details of your day over to God will lead you out of chaos and into His plans for peace and purpose in your life!
Dear Lord, every day there seems to be so much that has to get done and so little time. I know that living life stressed and frustrated is not what You created me for. Please help me each day to only do what You want me to do and not try to do more. In Jesus' Name, Amen.In the same way, he took the cup of wine after supper, saying, "This cup is the new covenant between God and his people--an agreement confirmed with my blood. Do this to remember me as often as you drink it."
1 Corinthians 11:25
Jesus said, "Do this to remember me as often as you drink it.'' How do we remember Christ in the Lord's Supper?
By thinking about what he did and why he did it. If the Lord's Supper becomes just a ritual or a pious habit, it no longer remembers Christ, and it loses its significance. | |
"A Conscience Before Trusting Christ "
God has placed basic principles of His Law in every person's conscience (Romans 2:14,15,) This operates whether a person or not ever reads the Bible or has been told anything about God. However, by the constant ignoring of that conscience, will dull the voice in us the conscience responds very little or not at all. that a conscience in this condition is a "seared conscience" in (I Timothy 4:2) A Pure concience knows of no offense against God (2 Tim 1:3 and 1 Timothy 1:5)
Thank you Lord for giving me a pure concience that is not seared and dull of listning to you Amen!!!
Both strong and weak Christians can cause their brothers and sisters to stumble. The strong but insensitive Christian may flaunt his or her freedom and intentionally offend others' consciences. The scrupulous but weak Christian may try to fence others in with petty rules and regulations, thus causing dissension. Paul wants his readers to be both strong in the faith and sensitive to others' needs.
Because we are all strong in some areas and weak in others, we need constantly to monitor the effects of our behavior on others.Welcome to
