"Thank You Father for directing Ruth's daughter to the home you have already set aside for her. Thank you also for the job You have waiting for her. You are a gracious and compassionate God who knows the needs and hears the heartcry of Your children. I also thank You for Your peace with passeth all understanding to overflow in Ruth. Please pray for my daughter, Genevieve, and her 2 girls, Hope and Lora as they are needing another place to live. They are 5 states away from us, and I feel so helpless. She doesn't have a job, and may need to go to a shelter. I am so scared, But know the Lord will watch over them.  My blessings to all.

Matthew 11:28 "Come to Me, all who are weary and heavy-laden' and I will give you rest.

vs 29 "Take My yoke upon you and learn from Me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and YOU WILL FIND REST FOR YOUR SOULS.

vs 30 "For My yoke is easy and My burden is light."

Jesus frees people from all their burdens. The rest that Jesus promises is love, healing, and peace with God, not the end of all labor. A relationship with God changes meaningless, wearisome toil into spiritual productivity and purpose.

We do not own nor affect any person or thing in this world for carnal ends and outward advantage: we are enabled, by divine grace, not to mind nor regard this world, nor the things of this world, but to live above it. The love of Christ is in our hearts, and the world is under our feet.’’ Note, Good Christians must enjoy the comforts of this life, and their relations in this world, with a holy indifference. Yea, though we have known Christ after the flesh, yet, says the apostle, we know him no more. It is questioned whether Paul had seen Christ in the flesh. However, the rest of the apostles had, and so might some among those he was now writing to. However, he would not have them value themselves upon that account; for even the bodily presence of Christ is not to be desired nor doted upon by his disciples. We must live upon his spiritual presence, and the comfort it affords. Note, Those who make images of Christ, and use them in their worship, do not take the way that God has appointed for strengthening their faith and quickening their affections; for it is the will of God that we should not know Christ any more after the flesh. 2. A thorough change of the heart: For if any man be in Christ, if any man be a Christian indeed, and will approve himself such, he is, or he must be, a new creature, v. 17. Some read it, Let him be a new creature. This ought to be the care of all who profess the Christian faith, that they be new creatures; not only that they have a new name, and wear a new livery, but that they have a new heart and new nature. And so great is the change the grace of God makes in the soul, that, as it follows, old things arepassed away —old thoughts, old principles, and old practices, are passed away; and all thesethings must become new. Note, Regenerating grace creates a new world in the soul; all things are new. 2 CORINTHIANS 5 :16-21

 16Therefore from now on we recognize no one according to the flesh; even though we have known Christ according to the flesh, yet now we know Him in this way no longer. 17Therefore if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creature; the old things passed away; behold, new things have come. 18Now all these things are from God, who reconciled us to Himself through Christ and gave us the ministry of reconciliation, 19namely, that God was in Christ reconciling the world to Himself, not counting their trespasses against them, and He has committed to us the word of reconciliation.

      20Therefore, we are ambassadors for Christ, as though God were making an appeal through us; we beg you on behalf of Christ, be reconciled to God. 21He made Him who knew no sin to be sin on our behalf, so that we might become the righteousness of God in Him.

Heavenly Father, thank You for Your faithfulness in my sister ELAINE life. Fill her with Your strength to keep doing good and standing firm until she see her harvest of blessing. Thank You for Your peace and grace in her life in Jesus’ name. Amen

Don’t Give Up TODAY’S SCRIPTURE “So let’s not get tired of doing what is good. At just the right time we will reap a harvest of blessing if we don’t give up” (Galatians 6:9, NLT) TODAY’S WORD from Joel and Victoria Are you believing God for something that is taking longer than you thought or expected? If you are praying according to His promises, no matter how long you may have been standing, don’t give up! Your season is coming. Your harvest of blessing is on its way. It might be today, it might be tomorrow, it might be next week, next month or next year; but remember, at the right time you will experience your breakthrough. Be encouraged today because God is faithful, and His promises are true. Keep standing, keep hoping, keep believing. Keep doing good. Keep declaring the promises of God over your life. Choose to be around people who are going to encourage you and fill your heart and mind with God’s Word. Let a song of praise come out of your mouth. As you continue to press on in faith and keep an attitude of victory, you will see your harvest of blessing and live as an overcomer in every area of your life

A PRAYER FOR TODAY

Heavenly Father, thank You for sending Your Son, Jesus, to pay the penalty for my sins. Thank You for providing a way out of temptation so that I can stand clean before You. Help me stand strong as I cover myself with Your Word in Jesus’ name. Amen.
