7 having been firmly rooted and now being built up in Him and established in your faith, just as you were instructed, and overflowing with gratitude.

1 John 2:5, 6

but whoever keeps His Word, in him the love of God has truly been perfected. By this we know that we are in Him:

vs. 6 the one who says he abides in Him ought himself to walk in the same manner as He walked.

True Christian faith results in loving behavior; that is why John says that the way we act can give us assurance that we belong to Christ.

To walk as Christ did we must obey His teachings and follow His example of complete obedience to God and loving service to people.

Romans 12:12 "Be glad for all God is planning for you. Be patient in trouble and always be prayerful."

We serve a faithful God!  He helps us find a way out in every situation.  We just have to trust Him in faith!

Mathew 28:20  " Teach these new disciples to obey all the commands I have given you. And be sure of this: I am with you always, even to the end of the age"

The promise that He will be with us always has always been there; in Isaiah 46: 4  He says "I will be your God throughout your lifetime - until your hair is white with age. I made you, and I will carew for you.  I will carry you along and save you."

Thank You Lord for these promises.  All we need to do is to obey Your commands!

tis wonderfull to ask the Lord what scripture then type it in then find it follows after the one before like the living Word that it is. such instruction from the Lord to us is so precious more than gold, and wonderfull to hear His voice amen.
