Philippians 4:4

Rejoice in the Lord always; again I say rejoice!

Paul teaches us, our inner attitudes do not have to reflect our outward circumstances. Paul was full of joy because he knew that no matter wheat happened to him, Jesus Christ was with him. It's easy to get discouraged about unpleasant circumstances or to take unimportant events too seriously. If you haven't been joyful lately, you may not be looking at life from the right perspective. Jesus Christ is with you always!

Proverbs 31:30 Charm is deceptive, and beauty is fleeting;
    but a woman who fears the Lord is to be praised.

Be more interested in God’s opinion of you than people's opinion. God says you are valuable to him. Truly understanding this leads you to an internal sense of worth that is not vulnerable to fading.

They did not love their lives unto death, but committed unto death, the enemy cannot defeat them, .

Made holy, washed, sanctified  by the spoken word of God. produceing  true pure worship,  A hearer and not a doer of the word, but to look like looking into a mirror which will show ones true state. As we look into Gods word He changes us from glory to glory, but we have to continue to look, seeing what You are like and what God can make you, ie into His own child.

Isaiah 55:9 As the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways and my thoughts than your thoughts.

God’s dream for your life is so much bigger than your own! He wants to bless you and enlarge your territory. His ways and thoughts are so much higher than ours, and His plan is so much bigger than we can imagine. Choose today to focus on the good things God has in store for you. Don’t allow the circumstances of life to drag your thoughts down. Choose to think God’s thoughts by meditating on His Word.

He was a man of sorrow He knew grief,  we esteemed Him not, He has taken out griefs  carried out sorrows made His grave with the wicked,  with His stripes we are healed.   Isiah 53

If you love Me keep my commands and I will send another comforter who will guide you into all truth.  He would abide in You forever.

 Philippians 4:12-13  I know how to live on almost nothing or with everything. I have learned the secret of living in every situation, whether it is with a full stomach or empty, with plenty or little. 13 For I can do everything through Christ, who gives me strength.

Paul says that his goal is to know Christ, to be like Christ, and to be all Christ has in mind for him.

Grow in knowledge of God by concentrating on your relationship with Him now. Look forward to a fuller and more meaningful life because of your hope in Christ.
