Hi folks:
There will be a thread in the discussion forum labeled "prayer requests." Please list one person, someone you know or yourself, who needs healing. Let others also post a request, up to and not exceeding ten requests with a short description of the health need. Finally, I eagerly ask that each group member participate in praying throughout the week for the health needs of those presented on the list. This won't work out if we all want prayer but none are willing to pray for the needs of others. Try to think of this as a service challenge...how service-driven are we in our walk with Jesus? Ok, let's get started! and Welcome! :-)

GINNY I'M SORRY THAT I'M JUST GETTING THIS BUT MY 29 YEAR OLD SON DIE 1/7/2010 BY FALLING OFF A 12 FT ROOF BUT I KNOW GOD CALLED HIM HOME AND HE DID BELIEVE IN OUR BIG BROTHER JESUS CHRIST SO HIS SEAT IN THE HEAVENLY PLACES HAS BEEN MANIFESTED FOR HIM AND WE ALL GOT TO DO THE SAME THING AND ALSO BR. NICK WHO I ASKED FOR PRAYERS GOT THE RESULT BACK TODAY THAT A 7 LB TUMOR WAS CANCER FREE GOD IS AWESOME THE DOCTOR HAD SAID THAT THEY THOUGHT HE WAS IN THE 90%LEVEL OF HAVING CANCER SO HE WANT TO THANK GOD FIRST AND THEN ALL OF US FOR OUR PRAYERS GOD IS AWESOME FOR HE WILL GIVE YOU GRACE TO COVER YOU IN ALL THINGS SO KEEP ME IN PRAYERS THAT GOD WILL KEEP ME IN THE CENTER OF HIS WILL AND THAT I WILL ALWAYS KEEP THE HEART THAT HE HAS TRANSFORM FOR ME LOVE YOU ALL

I'm writing to inform you all of my decision to fast for the following three days to bring the New Year in with fasting and prayer.
What??? My family is Salvadorian I can fast on Christmas or New Years haahaaha I wait all year for the food we share on the holidays hahahaah
OK OK all kidding aside sister - it's awesome - what you have done and are doing with this group. I am blessed to see your commitment and love for the body Christ. Thanks sis! I will pray for you as the Spirit of the Lord brings you up to my remembrance. Love you in Christ sis.

TODAY'S WORD from Joel and Victoria
Everyone goes through seasons of waiting. A lot of times, people just sit back and wait for God to do everything. But you have to remember to do your part and make preparations. You have to talk like it's going to happen and act like it's going to happen. Some people might say, "Well, Joel, what if I do this and it doesn't happen?" But I say what if you do and it does happen? And even if things don't turn out the way you had hoped, you'd still be better off living your life positive and hopeful than you would to go around down and discouraged.
I love what David said in the Bible, "God, my times are in your hands." He was saying, "God, I don't know when it's going to happen, but I know You know what's best for me." So I'm going to go out today expecting good things. And even if it doesn't happen, I'm not going to go to bed all disappointed. I'm going to go to bed knowing that I'm one day closer to seeing my dreams and desires come to pass!
A PRAYER FOR TODAY
"Father in heaven, I dedicate this day to You. Show me how to prepare for You to move in my life. Help me guard my words and thoughts as I put my trust in You. In Jesus' Name. Amen."
