Father, I thank you for the great salvation Jesus has come to bring us to lift us up out of our fallen and depraved nature of sin. Sin brings such ruin and disrder in human lives, dear Lord.

Father, the holy Scriptures declare in His crucifixion and death, Jesus destroyed the body of sin in humanity in order to free us from the enslavement of sin. He rose again to share with us His life of power and holiness that we may live unto God through Him.

Father, this is the solution to the enslavement and addiction of sin in humanity. But only by your grace you can cause us to believe in and accept your Son and the deliverance He gives from sin. Therefore, dear Father, have mercy upon William Scott. He acknowledges his helplessness and need of you to deliver him. He is calling upon you and I am joining with Him in prayer. By your grace help him, Lord. Create and stir up faith in his heart in Jesus Christ and cause him to rise up to live in liberty and peace in Christ. Amen.
