All About GOD

All About GOD - Growing Relationships with Jesus and Others

Music is a powerful form of expression. Not only does it communicate thoughts and ideas, but it also conveys emotion and feelings.
God made us to worship Him. Worship derives from the word worthship...worthiness.Worship is attributing ultimate worth to something whether it's an object or a person or even an idea. It's not just making an objective judgement that one thing excels all others,it's actively desiring and seeking.Remember that anything we do that brings pleasure to God is an act of worship. So let's give God the recognition He deserve.

Revelation 4:11
"O Lord,You are worthy to receive the glory and the honor and the power, for You have created all things. They were created and called into being by Your act of will."

Many of our hymns today share in the spirit of rejoicing and praise. Some hymns shows us how to live gospel's principles. This also give us the opportunities to learn the gospel of Jesus Christ and remembering the Savior in our daily lives. If sung thoughtfully and prayerfully it helps us focus on the Savior.Commitment to follow the Savior is expressed in many of our hymns..that way we testify to our Father in heaven that we desire to follow His Son.

So friends let's sing praises and worship song to the Lord till the fullest while we're still alive 'cause...

Psalms 115:17-18
The dead cannot sing praises to Jehovah here on earth, but we can! We praise Him forever! Hallelujah! Praise the Lord!

Here our prayer
We are your children and we gathered here today
We gathered here to pray
Here our cry
We need your mercy and we need your grace today
Here us as to pray

Chorus

Our Father,who art in heaven
Hallowed be thy name
Our Father hear us from heaven
Forgive our sins, we pray
Hear our songs,as it rises to heaven
May your glory fill the earth as the waters the seas
Clean our hearts and remove anything
That is standing in your way
Of loving us today

Repeat Chorus

And though we are few
We're sorrounded by many who have crossed that river before
And this is the song we'll be singing forever
Holy is the Lord (2x
