I thank God daily for helping me get my bi-polor disorder under control. I finally feel like I can hold a job,get along well with others..and just be back to my old self again. I know He's been with me every step of the way..and am so thank-ful for Him.

Hello all, I have a question and a comment for you.
I have been praying that the Lord will deliver me from this chemical depression for sometime now. Last night, I had a dream that a tall man in a long robe spoke to me and told me to stop eating "bitter almonds". I asked him what he meant by that and he told me "it is in the book of proverbs".
I have searched on the web for bitter almonds in proverbs, but to no avail.
Does anyone have a comment about his?
I have had a few dreams that the Lord has spoken to me and I have always been able to understand what He was telling me, but this one...?

My comment is I am going to the dr. next week as I have lost interest in everything that I once loved. I no longer paint or draw, no longer have any interest in sewing or even working out.I used to take such pride in our home, but now, I couldn't care less. I feel like a bump on a log.
I have alienated everyone, I have no friends and am not interested in making new ones. I was once a very social person, belonging to many clubs and organizations. I was once very busy in volunteer work and was offered a paying position to run a volunteer program in our hospital but I turned it down as I lost interest in the program I was once so committed to and had been with from the beginning.
I also have had thoughts of walking away from my family. This thought troubles me greatly because I am so deeply in love with my husband, my children and my grandchildren. It almost feels like everything I hold dear is being taken away from me. Is this spiritual or chemical?
I have never been one to confide in others, especially sharing my problems. I am not one to call for help, always dealing with things on my own, but I think I need some serious intervention of some kind.

Hi Lariosa,
As far as us not seeing him because of his holiness, I've never heard of such a thing.

If we cannot see God because of his holiness, then what about the other spirit beings? We both know there are also spirits that are evil. We cannot see them either. That doesn't make them holy just because they cannot be seen.

God bless!

Hi Lariosa,
There are two realms, a physical realm and a spiritual realm. People belong to the physical realm and have no trouble comprehending the physical realm by one of their five senses. Even the wind belongs to the physical realm, we may not see it, but we can feel it when it blows.

However, there is a spiritual realm. The spiritual realm is totally different from the physical realm. You can’t see spirit, but that doesn’t disprove its existence. Spirit must be ascertained by spirit. The word gives an example of a spiritual man. (Colossians 1:27) To whom God would make know what is the riches of the glory of this mystery among the Gentiles; which is Christ in you, the hope of glory. The Christ in you is a spiritual being and can comprehend the spiritual realm by discerning of spirits.

You might think that discerning of spirits is for the detection of evil spirits only. Not so. It is the detection of the presence of spirit and whether it is good or evil. If it is evil, does God want you to cast it out.

The beings which belong to the spiritual realm may at times make themselves known in the physical realm by using phenomenon. An example would be Moses seeing the burning bush. It’s a bush that’s burning, but it doesn’t turn to ashes.

God bless,
Mary O.

Mine is a question: we are advised to focus on God not our problems. But with Dpression, I have completely failed todo it! when I get a panic attack or depressed sometimes I manage to praise or pray or listen to Christian music, BUT most of the time I just get emotionally paralysed and cannot do anything at all. Wha can I do?
