THE PLACE CALLED CALVARY!
Luke 23: 33
For over a week I have been focusing on that place called Calvary and have been blessed remembering all that Calvary means to me!
I heard that Nepolean pointed to a spot on the map and said if it wasn’t for this spot, I would have been ruler of the world!
I know that Satan now points to that place called Calvary and says, “if it wasn’t for Calvary, I would still be in control of the world.”
BUT THANK GOD FOR THAT PLACE CALLED CALVARY WHERE JESUS CHRIST SHED HIS BLOOD FOR US AND CRIED “IT IS FINISHED!”
The battle of the ages for the souls of men was fought and won and Jesus Christ arose again from the dead on the third day to justify us!
Satan lost the battle, Jesus won the fight and we have been set free from the dominion of the enemy! Let the believers SAY SO! (Psalm 107: 2 & Romans 10: 9, 10)
What did Calvary mean to the Father-God:
Calvary to God was a manifestation of His great love for mankind, His creation!
God so loved us that He gave His Only begotten Son that whosoever believes in Him shall not perish but have everlasting life! (John 3: 16)
Behold, what manner of love the Father hath bestowed upon us that we should be called the sons of God (1 John 3: 1)
Because there was no other way to redeem MAN, God manifested Himself in the form of the Man, Christ Jesus to be the sacrificial Lamb to be slain to pay the penalty of sin.
What did Calvary mean to Jesus –
It meant submission to God’s plan even to the death of the cross, shedding Holy blood to redeem us back into fellowship with God.
It meant pain and suffering, shame, being forsaken, taking the sins of the whole world upon Himself, He also bore our sicknesses and diseases, and the curse that fell on mankind because of sin. Isa. 53
He laid down His life to abolish death.
He provided a perfect salvation and complete deliverance from the devil.
Jesus Christ arose from the dead with the keys of Death and Hell.
What does Calvary mean to us –
Calvary has redeemed every human being from the devil and he no longer has control.
The penalty for sin has been paid in full and the enemy has been eternally defeated.
By the sacrifice of Himself Jesus has put away sin. God has nothing against us for all
that was against us have been nailed to His cross! Hallelujah!
Calvary is the place of victory for believers over the devil and his works
Calvary is place where man makes a choice to come under the shelter of God’s love.
The holy blood shed at Calvary has power to break the enemy’s power over every sinner
Calvary is God’s legal ground to forgive and protect all that will come to Him
Calvary is the place of acceptance by God of every sinner who will repent and forsake his sin and is willing to follow Jesus Christ.
When Jesus arose from the dead He took the keys of death and hell from the devil so need not fear death. To be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord!
Calvary set us free to worship God in spirit and truth.
We received eternal life the nature of God – we become children of God
We come as sinners to Calvary and we are cleansed from all sin
Calvary restores our relationship and fellowship with God
We are made new creations and have been delivered from the power of darkness
We have been blessed with all spiritual blessings in Christ
Calvary has broken down the middle wall of partition and we are one in Christ
All power is given to us through the Holy Ghost, the gift of God to a believer
All authority over the devil has been given through the Name of Jesus Christ
We have been healed of sicknesses for by His stripes.
We are now members of the Body of Christ
Prayers/petitions are answered based on Calvary’s finished work for us!
Everyone has a right to Calvary’s benefits simply because Jesus paid for them.
For victory over the enemy, we need to enforce Calvary’s victory
To receive any of the benefits of Calvary we must know the reality of Calvary personally.
Our hope of heaven is linked with the reality of Calvary.
We have been made over comers through the blood of the Lamb and the Word of our testimony. Rev. 12: 11
Shout H A L L E L U Y A H with me for that wonderful place called CALVARY!!
