I had major depression most of my life.  The last 15 years have been victorious in Christ. 

Victory Over Depression is now becoming a ministry to help people like you.

Janet,

      You are never alone. People are praying & thinking about you. Jesus is there, in your heart everyday. If there are no people in your life that is indeed tragic and I feel for you, but you can draw near to Jesus every waking hour. It's also okay to reach out to relatives, friends & church folk. Remember the story about the man who has company & he wakes up his neighbor in the middle of the night? The neighbor doesn't want to help, but Jesus says, if he keeps knocking on his door the neighbor will have to help. Being timid, ashamed or afraid to put someone to trouble is not what Jesus commanded. He said to keep knocking! What do you have to lose? God bless you & reach out to ministers, organizations, get free companions to visit for four hours, etc. Start a website for Jesus, write letters to encourage others & anything that is possible for you to do. I'm not in your shoes, but Jesus is...Matt. 7:7-12;  Luke11:5-13, 18:1-8.

Hi Janet

I too suffer from deression.  not to bore you but I came from a good home dad was in the army for 23 1/2 yrs then I moved to the nw and graduated high school.  My family and I knew something was wrong from age 12  but didn't know what till I was dignosed at age 17 I'm now 28 in countsoling for family issuses from my childhood and also on meds as well.  I'm feeling so far from father and can't feel him around me lately and I need prayer I so want to go home and be at peace but I know father will call me home someday I can't wait till then I will be so so happy to be home again. Again please pray for me and please pray I will find and be at peace again.  I will do the same for you.
