and
The Bible Before Printing: Part 4: Techniques of the Scribal Arts: A. Making Parchment: Part II - A Demonstration of Parchment Making

Well, I got some organizing done and started the blog:

The Bible Before Printing, Introduction and Tentative Index it will be a discussion of how the Bible was produced by hand. Doing sections as I digitize my files, once I get them done, will organize into a coherent whole. It will contain both history and actual techniques. Mostly concentrating on actual methods from Roman period to renaissance, but I'll do a separate section on the scribal arts post wood block printing era.

As soon as I get photos organized and make a few sketches I'll work up a brief discussion on calligraphy.

Hello Jennifer and Wholehearted! Yours are the first comments I've seen since I joined the group Jan. 2012: good to see someone pot. Just coming off my winter hibernation and active again on AAG: I get my group "The Beauty of Nature Created by God" caught up this week, lol, and my horribly dated page, we will have to revive this group! I suppose I have 2 main interests in art: nature photography and my medieval art/crafts. Hope to hear from you again!

Thanks, we doubled our membership! :)
I found her site... in a roundabout way (someone has a site make fun of her.. didn't know if she was some celebrity, political figure or something), Saw her murals and I think I invited her yesterday morning. But if you want to invite her please do, and anyone else you wish.
Please feel free to post art work. I thing the discussion forum would be the best place for that.
