Welcome to the site Immanuel
hello everyone am new here!
Listen to the testimony of Brian "Head" Welch from Korn. How did God change his life and give him victory over drugs?

Thank you Heather. I may never get it...lol
Tom - Im not sure how to answer your question except if you click on the link to her page you may find the thread there. have a geat day!
I do not get it. I received an email from a member of this group, subject title "Help" which I was able to leave a comment. Now, I came to the group directly and I can no longer find the discussion that I received via email. Could someone direct me on what to do? Thank you!
I'd like to thank you for excepting me into your group.
A sound mind comes from God, and is probably our most powerful tool in fighting addiction.
Going on towards a month of freedom. All glory to God!!!
(For me, a month is a long time.)
What's helping: Daily Scripture to start the day, and trying to identify a verse or passage from my reading to claim for this day.
Also I have a friend who likes to send texts with a Bible verse... not every day, but often. It's amazing how God can time these little messages!
One day at a time is still the only way, otherwise I would get totally discouraged!
Thank you so much for accepting me in. I have recently kicked my addiction of marijuana, im about four months clean. To some four months is nothing but to me its a great accomplishment. I was hooked for 20 years nonstop and it feels good to finally be free, finally able to think for myself and finally get rid of the shameface to God. He has truly answered my prayer. Everyday is a battle so i just keep pressing on and staying away from anything that will make me go back. That was the hardest thing to ever quit because of the way it makes you feel but now I feel even better than i did when i was high. I finally have Demika back and it feels awesome.Im praying for all the others in this group as well as myself to keep fighting this devil "the addiction".
