Larry,

 

I appreciated your positive take on AAG and its benefit to you and others. I need to ask what you mean by "fellowship?" Are you talking via internet or face-to-face?

Face to face fellowship i think will strengthen friendship, brotherhood and a lot of areas for the brethren.

Being on this site strengthened my relationship with my Lord Jesus..I am here seeking advice from my Brothers and sisters in the Lord who are mature in their walk with the Lord and also share my experience that would help others facing the similar circumstances that I was going through....Lets continue to encourage one another and pray for others that they may come to know the Lord...

I'm new here and joined the group Miracle Grow...To get started, the group says to listen to two musics and read three scriptures and ask two questions in a discussion....a) I hope to give my all to God, b) I hope to gain Jesus as my Lord and Saviour. As for my motivation...(I promised God that when I retire I'll give them a  100% of my time ) I ask God for his blessing on these sites that I joined in their name...:)

I stumbled on this website in my search for more insight into the word of God and I don't regret it.  I desire to hear from people who have been longer on this faith journey and to grow closer to my Lord.  I would like to believe that I'm at the right place.  I also hope that sharing my experiences would help others just as much as I'm being helped in my growth towards the truth.  I pray that the good Lord will continue to to bless everyone here and grant our hearts' desire - to be with Him one day when our lives come to an end here on earth.  Amen!

I joined AAG back in November of 2007.  I think there were about 120 members at that time.  I was looking for a place to fellowship as a relatively new believer...with lots of ZEAL, and not much knowledge. :-D

I was facing some persecution from family....I needed a safe place to land at the time.  At that time I was attending church, but I was not yet (really) connected to a community church family.

 

Now, in addition to the above, I love to see people have a safe place to share their struggles and grow in their faith.

It is important to me that people know they are safe here. 

There have been many opportunites to grow as a family here with other members who have been here for a while...and to begin to get to know new members.  i love this place.  Praise God for it.

 

I have learned so much...  and I am very thankful that AAG is here.

I don't have as much time to be online as I used to, but I am here as often as I am able.

AAG holds a special place in my heart with all of you.  I believe we are so blessed to be able to connect as a family in Christ from places all over the world..  How incredible is that!!!  God is Awesome!  ;-)
