Who was God talking about when He said this?

After my personal Bible reading this morning God did reveal something to me yet afterwards He led me to this scripture verse to verify what he had revealed. Although I am going to ask this Body of Christ what do you think God meant when He said this from Genesis 1:28

Then God said,"Let US make man in OUR image,after OUR likeness

Who was He talking about when He said "US" and "OUR?"

I remember when I first got saved, I was so relieved to finally meet Jesus and to find that the truth of life I was searching for was in Him. But I still had a slight dilemma as I thought well now I can say I know who God the Father is and who Jesus the Son is, but what or who in the world is the Holy Spirit??!! Honestly, I hadn't figured that one out yet. So, I did not stop until I met Him too. Now it seems so strange that at one time I did not know who He was along with Jesus. Now they are my closest friends along with Father God : )
