Dear Tiffany,

My advice to you is to run away from this relationship as far as you can, it is not worth it. Can you see yourself married to this man and being with him for the rest of your life? Anything can happen, can you picture yourself with a child from this man, will this man be a good father to your child?
Doing drugs is a very seious and a bad thing and this guy needs counseling, he certainly needs to call on Jesus, He will not change unless he gives his life to the Lord and proves it. Get away from him and the sooner the better.

I copied and pasted this from a Christian website and I hope and pray you read it and listen to what God is saying to you from the bible.

We tend to think of Domestic Abuse as physical violence or assault on a wife. In reality, however, domestic abuse is the summary of physically, sexually and psychologically abusive behaviours directed by one partner against another, regardless of their marital status or gender. Generally, when one form of abuse exists, it is coupled with other forms as well.

Domestic Abuse does not just affect people of a certain race, age, gender or background, but knows no ethnic, cultural or personal borders.

Domestic abuse may also be defined by identifying its function, that being the domination, punishment or control of one's partner. Abusers use physical and sexual violence, threats, money, emotional and psychological abuse to control their partners and get their way.

Sometimes Domestic Abuse is better understood by it's effect on the victim than by the specific actions of the abuser.

Abuse in the home is not a rare problem, it is just rarely admitted as one.

Check out the Wheel of Power and Control, which provides a visual representation of the interconnection of the differing forms of abuse.

The Bible condemns violence and violent men
Many passages in the Bible speak out on the issue of violence, and GOD's attitude toward those that repeatedly use violence:

Psalms 11:5 The LORD trieth the righteous: but the wicked and him that loveth violence his soul hateth.
Psalms 37:9 For evildoers shall be cut off: but those that wait upon the LORD, they shall inherit the earth.

Malachi 2:16-17 “I hate [...] a man’s covering his wife with violence, as well as with his garment.” says the Lord Almighty...."You have wearied the Lord with your words.” “How have we wearied him?” you ask. By saying “all who do evil are good in the eyes of the Lord, and he is pleased with them,” or “Where is the God of justice?”. (NIV alternate translation)
hello -

You should not be with a man who uses drugs. What does that mean?

Well first and foremost - Are you born again?

Second - Is he born again?

Thirdly - He has to seek help. Get into a drug rehab program and once he is done with that program and is walking the walk and showing with actions his change, only then should you go back with him in a boyfriend relationship.

Not while on the rehav or as soon as he gets out, but once he is going to church and living a Godly life.

I am asking your and his spiritual status because dependent on your answers is the advice I will give you, but the above counsel would remain the same in either case.

Do you have a church you are a member of and have you asked your local pastor about this.

Blessings
