Perception (from the Latin perceptio, percipio) is the process of attaining awareness or understanding of the environment by organizing and interpreting sensory information.
Do we put enough emphasis on or take enough care with perception? Before we speak or write, do we think of how others may perceive what we say? Do we take into consideration that what is good for us my not be good for someone else, and may even be detrimental to a certain state of mind? Is our intent always in the right place or driven by the right motives?
On the other hand, is there too much emphasis on perception? Do we choose what we perceive and how we perceive it? Do we read too much into some things and not enough into others? Do we assume attitude where there is none or don't take things seriously enough when we should?
Will I be perceived to be attempting to help here or to condemn?
Your thoughts?

I have felt lead by Holy Ghost when I have posted things, as I'm sure most have. There have been times that people have interpreted or read "between the lines," of things I posted that, I could not understand how they saw those things. So for a times after that I found myself second guessing. In the end I have trusted that Holy Spirit would reveal my heart to any and all. And that is what I try to do when, I read what other people have shared. As we are the body, we must be aware of others feelings yet, we must be obedient to Holy Spirit when lead. And when we are just letting others see parts of ourself, we must be aware of how others may, interpret how they can help us. We can and do get hurt that way. So as the body we must understand the risk we take. In the same breath trust that both sides are open to the leading of Holy Spirit.

For me I give weight to the message not so much the messager. If what I hear bears witness to my spirit then I consider that, not so much from where or who I heard it. When or as we seek wisdom, our perception can and will draw out that which we seek. So once again for me it is always in the message itself, things that I am seeking or have to offer. And thanks again for your clarification about your response. I did not percieve ill intent. (lol)
