Were dinosaurs real?

I think that when the scriptures talk about leviathans, they were referring to dinosaurs, I could be wrong though.

There is no reason to doubt that dinosaurs existed, as we have ample evidence of their prescence in our museums.
I believe that the dinos died out after the flood.

Hi LaBrock!

What do you mean the first earth age? Can you show me the scriptures please to support this. Where does it say that this is 'sealed from common knowledge?'

What flood was bigger then Noah's?

Hi La Brock,
Romans 16:25 is referring to the message of the gospel as a mystery...which is now revealed as the new covenant...not the mystery of a first earth age... I am going to look at Gen 2...and ask a friend who does study Hebrew...

I have a couple concerns about your posts here.

One of the very effective strategies of satan is this: to confuse reality... God has revealed everything to us which He chooses to reveal. We have all we need regarding His word. It seems to me that you are speaking of a knowledge that is not available to everyone... That sounds strange to me..because God has not kept His truth from people unless they have hardened their hearts against Him.

You say this:

You will find it full of growth(truth) if you haven't studied it yet!

this sounds to me like you are suggesting that the bible is not sufficient. In the words of John MacArthur from his book 'The Truth War'.. "To claim that the bible is not sufficiently clear is to assault God's own wisdom and integrity."

I am not able to join another group right now as I am sufficiently handling what God has already given me, however, if you are so confident in this study....please post it here as a blog.. It would be quite simple for you to 'cut 'n' paste' it. :)

I came across this devotional today:

Temptations Strategy
Satan is very clever. Always his strategy is to confuse reality, to make evil seem good. He knows Eve is living in all the splendor of Eden, with all of her needs met. How do you get at someone who is contended with good?
The serpent has a plan. He approaches the woman with a theological discussion about God. That is a safe subject; she likes to talk about God. The serpent queries "Did God say, 'You must not eat from any tree in the garden'? "The serpent makes an overstatement that he allows Eve to correct, but in doing so he makes her aware of a restriction, God is keeping something from her.
The woman corrects the serpent. "No, God isn't like that..."Then she makes her own overstatement of what God has said (Genesis 3:3). Yet, instead of declaring that the garden is lavish in its provision for her need, and that one tree doesn't make all that much difference, the woman lets the serpent trick her. Hw focuses her attention on the one forbidden tree, suggesting that God is keeping something good from Eve. He casts doubt on the character of God. Doubting God makes it easy to 'take and eat.'
Eve's attention is riveted to the tree--not the garden full of goodness, not God's gracious fellowship and provision. Just the tree. It looks good; it pleases the eye, it is desirable (Genesis 3:6). The more she looks, the more appealing it becomes. It's always that way when satan gets us to concentrate on the temptation instead of God.
I suppose the temptation has been replayed again and again in the history of the human race, and probably in each of our lives. The specifics are different, but the strategy is often the same. How many times has the serpent tempted you think, "A good God wouldn't keep me from this, would He?"
The serpent won his encounter with the woman. She took the fruit and gave some to her husband. It will be a long time before another One will say. "Take and eat," and this time he will provide His own body and blood as a ransom for their sins.

What is all of the documentation?.. I understand you have given me this link.. But I don't need a link.. I have God's Word. I don't want reasoning or justifying, or personal interpretation! Show me scripture! Thanks!

Behemoth-a colossal beast,described...Job 40:15-24. Leviathan Job 41:1-34,Ps 74:14. I believe these scriptures describe dinosaurs. I believe that real dinosaur bones are found but are not as old as most scientists believe. I have heard that King David kept a pet dinosaur whose image is on an anchient coin.

I read those scriptures yesterday and was surprised. I never read Job before, I just know his story, but I was surprised.I knew they had to be real if scientists found all of these bones of different types of huge beasts. I'm not sure about King David having a pet dino, but I believe the scriptures reveal a certainty that they did exist. Thank you all for the comments.

I see that his teachings are dangerous and confusing! I am bidding you to come out from under them..

God's Grace is sufficient for everything you will need.

The lure and promise of 'special knowledge' smells of a newage cultish teaching.
