Amen and Amen...May the LORD of Glory inspire every Catholic to seek His face and pray for wisdom and discerment to continue to pursue and love the Lord Jesus, the One and Only Savior!

All Catholics especially should be praying and seeking the Lord Jesus Christ, the Messiah of Israel and Savior of all Gentiles who put their faith in Him.  I believe in the Word of God over the traditions of men as the final word regarding faith and our walk in the Holy Spirit.  Some time ago in the 1500's AD a Catholic Jesuit sought the Lord to find out what would happen to the Roman Catholic Church.  He believed that God gave him a vision of the FINAL 112 Popes until Christ returns for His true believers born of the Spirit and washed in the blood of the Lamb.  He identifies each Pope who supposedly sits in the place of St Peter by an event or icon that described their lives.   I want to make it clear that I do not know if this vision came from God or not but I do know that this Jesuit, named Malachy, had been right on target.  In the final analysis I will take God's Holy Scripture over the traditions and visions of men.  That being said,  Pope Benedict was the 111th Pope!  His icon was the olive!  The olive is on his family coat of arms!  So as a former Roman Catholic who loves all Catholics and that includes much of my family I would at least consider what Jesuit Malachy

wrote regarding the NEW and upcoming 112th Pope who will be alive when Christ returns for

His Church Body.   I am making this reply short but their are many books and articles about

this "prophecy" that has been carefully followed for over 500 years!  The last Pope is supposedly

a traitor to the faith and is called, the Anti-Pope or as the Bible describes as the False Prophet

who helps place the Beast or Anti-Christ into power and deludes and decieves that masses into

believing the "one" is the god-man sent to save the world from destruction.  He will use deception

and "lying wonders and false miracles" but in the end the great Judge will come and the this false

trinity of the Beast, the False Prophet and Satan will be cast into the Lake of Fire.  During the Great

Tribulation [7 years of God's judgement on mankind for how they mistreated the Jewish people

and all other sins] Rome and the place on seven hills where the Vatican now sits will be burned

with fire or some kind of nuclear weapon.  This is not my idea at all this is the sayings of many Catholics

and other evangelicals who have been following the works of Jesuit Malachy.  The final Pope is identified

as "Peter the Roman".  Supposedly he will place an image of some kind to represent the Anti-Christ

in the new Hebrew Temple and make it talk and breathe and require all men to worship it.
In this sense this abomination that makes desolate is not so much against the true Christ as He claims to be

God's appointment to REPLACE Christ!   Is this all true.....I DO NOT KNOW but if I were a Catholic

I would be very concerned and I would seek the Jewish Messiah, our Savior with all of my heart and place all of my

faith in Christ alone and in the Written Word of God alone.  God loves all Catholics and all believers

but He wants us to place our faith in Him and not in man.  Their are many good and loving Catholics that love

Jesus as much and anyone else.  JESUS is our Shepherd and He wants to seperate us from all

delusions that come from the enemy of our Faith, Lucifer.  Beware and pray and watch!

PS Let us especially pray for the nation of Israel as the Lord seeks to call them back to FAITH in the true Messiah.  Let Isaiah chapter 62 be your guide as we pray for their salvation and restoration!

Jesus Christ is my rock, and I trust Him. He has proven Himself to me. I'm saying this with lots of love okay. There's a lot of theories and false prophecies out there. I try to avoid the fear bandwagon. Maybe this is the last pope. For example, I've heard the theory that the papal cemetery is full, but then I think what would stop them from buying another cemetery.

Blessed is the one who reads the words of this prophecy, and blessed are those who hear it and take to heart what is written in it, because the time is near. (Revelation 1:3)

It was near back then, it must be really near now. The person who reads the words of this prophecy and hears it and takes to heart what's written in it is blessed.

God's blessings on you!   That's a great prayer.   :-)   I didn't say I was raised catholic. I don't practice the catholic faith now.  I've had the privilege of leading some relatives to the Lord.  Yeah God!

I'll just be honest here. It's no big deal. The pope is placed above Christ which is soooooo wrong. Catholics teach so many false doctrines that they ride the line of heaven & hell. I pray for the Catholics that they will see the truth & turn from trusting man & the false doctrines of the Catholic religion & turn to the one & only Intercessor by Whose Name alone can save us. He & He alone can give us the salvation we so need. No amount of masses, confessions to a priest, holding some beads, praying to dead saints, trusting in man, can save us. Only Christ. I do pray for the Catholics but I pray on a much different level. I could care less if they had priests & popes, nuns or cardinals. I only pray they receive Christ alone.

I think we all need prayers and not only the Catholics.  We pray that all will know Christ as to who He really is; Lord, God, Almighty, Omnipotent and Omnipresent.  God is so good and in my heart I feel what He desires is that all churches, all christians may come together as ONE.  It doesn't help if we start  judging each other. Let the good Lord be the JUDGE.  Let us all do our part in spreading the news that Jesus Christ is Lord, our beginning and our end.  Let us all be one in the Spirit and in the Lord and those who are not christians will know through our love for each other that we are for CHRIST JESUS.  All Christians know that Jesus Christ is the One and Only Saviour.
