step-children
it has come to my attention regarding children...I have been calling and introducing my husband's children my step-children.Nowhere in the bible does it say anything about STEP..When Moses was found he was not regarded as a step-child.Instead,he was called a son.A visiting pastor has informed me of this and it spoke to my heart as to not do this.

I have two daughters who I gained through marriage, we also have their half brother who is not either my husbands or mine. When asked if they are my children I tell people that they are the children of my heart. The reactions I get from people are sometimes very comical. They really don't know what to say. God has placed them in my life for a reason and I want people and them to know that they are loved. My girls do not correct their friends when they say theirs your mom. My situation is different then most. Our kids do not see their mother and hardly talk to her so it may be different for you. Then main thing is to talk to the children about it, and get an understanding on how they feel about the whole situation. If you need to talk ever about the kids and the situation give me a shout. My son is 14 and my girls are 13 and 7.
