Without knowing the reason for resentment it is difficult to share a specific scripture. You could search your heart for Forgiveness. Why carry this burden of anger when all it's going to do is eat you up inside. God Bless!

2 Corinthians 10:5 [Full Chapter]

We demolish arguments and every pretension that sets itself up against the knowledge of God, and we take captive every thought to make it obedient to Christ.
James 4 [Full Chapter]
Submit Yourselves to God ] What causes fights and quarrels among you? Don’t they come from your desires that battle within you? You desire but do not have, so you kill. You covet but you cannot get what you want, so you quarrel and fight. You do not have because you do not ask God. When you ask, you do not receive, because you ask with wrong motives, that you may spend what you get on your pleasures. ...
Scripture is full of wisdom. I hope this helps. I will pray for you also Carrie Ann.
That helps so much Thank you :)

I believe when a Christian gets  angry, and depressed, worrying about things, they have forgotten about the Word, and what it has to say about the way we are to respond to all circumstances. First it tells us not to become conformed to this world, but be ye transformed by the renewing of the mind. We can overcome anything that has our mind so preoccupied with distractions that we forget about the Word, and this is our hope of peace, regardless of what we are experiencing, or going through at the time, just by renewing our mind to the Word of God, will set you free. In other words, make the Word of God a reality, not a theory, or a doctrine,  I make it an affirmation, Ps.91:9-16 is a good place to start. I.e. QT. Because I have made the Lord, which is my refuge, even the most High my habitation, there shall no evil befall me, neither shall any plague come nigh my dwelling, For He will give His angels charge over me, to keep me in all my ways, they will bear me up in their hands, less I dash my foot against a stone. I will tread upon the lion, and the adder, the young lion and the dragon will I trample under feet, Because I have set my set my love upon Him, therefore He will deliver me, He will set me on high, because I have known his Name, I can call upon Him and He will hear me, He will be with me in trouble, He will deliver me, and honor me, with long life will He satisfy me, and show me His salvation.

The following is the way an un-renewed mind reacts. And following that, will be from the Amp. Bible, 1Cor.13:4-8, “Paraphrased” This will be the way a Christian, filled with the Holy Spirit will respond in all, and any circumstances they may find themselves in.

If you commit these to memory, and repeat them aloud once a day, with full faith that they will influence your thoughts, and your actions, will cause you to become a more peaceful, and  confident Child of God.

Just put His Word first place in all circumstances! In other words, submit yourself therefore to God “His Word” resist the devil, and he will flee from you.

  The UN-renewed Mine!!

#1. An UN-renewed mine is always waging war against unbelief.

#2. Ever praying for faith, but never arriving.

#3. Talking unbelief, yet struggling to get faith,

#4. Confessing failure, at the same time, confessing faith in the Word, yet denying it in action,

#5. Trying to believe, but never acting on the Word.
