Repentance - Act of God or Self

I seen a question this week. Is the grace of Christ enough or does it also consist of our repentance as well? Of course grace is enough. So is repentance from us or God. If we do the work of repentance, wouldn't that make repentance an act of ourselves & not of God? If that's the case, would we be getting the glory & not Him?

And a servant of the Lord must not quarrel but be gentle to all, able to teach, patient, 25 in humility correcting those who are in opposition, if God perhaps will grant them repentance, so that they may know the truth, 2 Ti 2:24-25

My view is that we repent to the Lord from the heart.
The heart being the center of our intellect and
then He forgives us and gives us The Spirit then we are to
are to walk in The Spirit that he placed in us
So now we have two natures and we are
living according to one or the other , we
are to keep under subjection the natural
man ( flesh ) , we all have a battle going
on with in our self. The fruit of The Spirit or the works of
flesh is what we are dealing with...
