All About GOD

All About GOD - Growing Relationships with Jesus and Others

On here you see all my warts, as well as the good bits, what worries me is I dont show the warts in church their hidden,  ( warts ? me )  the real me is not the warts, its the good bits that are me, I dont see others putting their foot in it on here (or do you have you) I find on here nothing is hidden, but in going to church alot can be hidden and not delt with, but on here tis done and dusted, like when one gets tipsy or other things, is it unconditional love ? or the fact that we cannot see the other face helps alot.

What do you mean by warts? I don't think you're talking about physical warts. What are you referring to than by "warts"?

I find that most people are too busy with life to build relationships outside their own immediate family. It truly is sad, for there is so much beauty in the  “one another” kind of love and care. One of the beauties of AAG is that we can enjoy each other, but we should also be enjoying relationships in our communities. We should be among the ones who act upon this knowledge and Godly discontent. Reach out and love the family, someone has to get the ball rolling. If God has showed us the need, is so we can do something about it.

Love you all- Blessings

I believe for us to truly become as One Body, we must trust one another.  Heb 4:12-13  12 For the word of God is alive and powerful. It is sharper than the sharpest two-edged sword, cutting between soul and spirit, between joint and marrow. It exposes our innermost thoughts and desires. 13 Nothing in all creation is hidden from God. Everything is naked and exposed before His eyes, and He is the one to whom we are accountable.

As we yield to God more and more, we do grow to Trust Him.  I do believe in this forum it is easier to be open.  For me many of my hurts from the past, still prevent me from sharing parts of my past.  But, there are many here,          { you four are some} that make it easier to do.  To be open and honest with one another is key for real fellowship.

I have no problem in opening up at church. Nor do I think most members there mind telling it. We share so that we can comfort others who may be going thru the same thing or have been thru it at the moment. I think others may open up more on the internet because they don't have to eye-ball people when sharing. And then, you don't really know if what they say is true. I've known people for quite a while on here only to find out they had been lying to me all along. It hurt though I wasn't surprised.

I think many people in churches are afraid of being open and honest. You can tell because they always present all their programs like classes and teaching with everyone sitting in rows and keep everyone listening but never let anyone even ask a question. I don't know of a school I would put my child in where he can't ask a question.  If one can't do that how could one ever expose ones self.  I have felt stupid in school before but even more stupid in church sometimes.

Ditto regarding our church.

Lord Bless,
