Power over demons

I'm new here and before my account was approved I was surfing this forum quite a bit.  I found a lot of the stories very interesting.

I just thought I'd throw this one out there.  My pastor was a missionary in Indonesia for many many years and had a few experiences with demon possession.  But this one specific instance I wanted to share and talk about how victorious we are over demons as Christians.  This one didn't happen to my pastor, but someone that he knew.

My pastor knew a man who was dealing with a demon possessed person.  He spoke to this demon and told him in the name of God to leave this person's body and to "go where God wants you to go."  (apparently when dealing with demons, you have to be very careful because they can leave and possess someone else, even in the same room)

This demon then pleaded with the man that told him this, "no, I don't want to go where He wants me to, you tell me where to go so I can go there."

This was so amazing to me.  I thought it was so awesome to get a glimpse into a demon's thought process.  He was scared to go where God wanted him to go and pleaded for this person to tell him to go somewhere else!

We have power in the name of God!
