Name Your Favorite Verse In The Bible

Trust in the Lord with all thine heart and lean not to thine own understanding, in all thy way acknowledge Him and He shall direct thy paths. Proverbs 3:5&6

This verse is my favorite because I think it reminds me that only God knows where I came from and which way I'm supposed to go. If I don't listen to him, and rely on my own knowledge and understanding then I could veer off in another direction. I know my heart is exceedingly wicked and I don't even fully know it, but God sure does. So why not let him lead the way:)

Hebrews 13:5-6

 

5 Let your conversation be without covetousness; and be content with such things as ye have: for he hath said, I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee.

 

6 So that we may boldly say, The Lord is my helper, and I will not fear what man shall do unto me.

I like knowing that God is always there. I also like the verse/s when Jesus talks about little children and the Kingdom of Heaven.

"Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation. The old has passed away; behold, the new has come." (2 Corinthians 5:17 ESV)

 

PS: I chose this one over all the other great choices because I recognize I quote this verse more than any other.
