Modesty/Lust

A teenage Christian young lady desires to know what modest dress is.  She has a number of well thought out questions:

1) First of all, generally speaking, what is modest dress for ladies? And let's not leave out the men, because this question applies to men too.

2) Are jewelry, make-up and slacks modest for ladies?

3) What should ladies and men wear to the pool or beach?  Similarly, what is modest in athletic/exercise outfits?

4) Question for the men- how covered up must a woman be in order for you not to lust after her? Obviously, very sexual clothes are out, but clothes still do show the contour of a woman's body, and unless covered up from head to toe just how modest and holy does a woman need to dress for you not to lust?  Likewise, what do ladies find too lustful looking in  mens' dress?

5) No offense to men, but it seems that women were created to be beautiful creatures whereas men are much plainer appearing generally speaking. And most women love to get dressed up and accentuate their beauty whereas most men put little thought into their appearance- is it godly for women to care more about their appearance or or would you say that is worldly conditioning?
