Did Jesus wait to preach until He was 30 because that was when He become filled with the Spirit after baptism? But, Jesus is the Spirit, right? I've just been thinking about this lately and going back & forth with it. I must admit that I haven't looked into it deeper on my own but just wanted to see your thoughts on it. Thanks

Noah's ark had 3 levels, Jesus waited for 30 years. His ministry lasted 3 years. The trinity. Man is a triune creature. 666, three 'sixes' - man in his completeness (so that he may be able to work in the complete Adamic authority). So Jesus had to be made complete (through suffering), thus the 30 years.
The house (temple) must be complete to be ready for consecration. Even the dimensions of the temple Solomon built for the Name of the Lord were multiples of 3.
I'm confused about man's completeness signified by 666
I found three references in the Holy Scriptures to the number "666," including the one from Revelation with which many are familiar.
How does that explain his completeness though?
6 is the number of man. Then there are three of them.
As for the term 'woman'. That was the proper term in reference to what Jesus had come to do. Genesis 3:18 reads; "And I will put enmity between you and the woman,
and between your offspring and hers,
He will crush your head,
and you will strike His heel"
He came to crush Satan's head. We are His heel and that is why when He saw Satan drop from heaven like a lightening He gave out the authority to crush serpents and scorpions.
As for time for giving wine not being right is because the wine He had come to give was the Spirit He was to send after He was glorified. He sent the 'new wine' that day at the upper room during Pentecost and people thought that Peter and company were drunk on wine. The answer Peter gave them is interesting in that he did not dispute the fact that they were drunk. Only on what the people supposed they were drunk on.
Wine is not woman. God told the serpent that the offspring of the woman would crush its head. And the offspring is Jesus. He was not sired by Joseph but came through the woman. That's why He is referred to as the offspring of woman.
Jesus said that you cannot put new wine in an old wineskin. He gave the reason as to why not. He meant the spirit.
I knew all that but how did that have any relation to Satan & Jesus & Jesus crushing Satan's head & the number 6 & wine not being ready?
Chris, I've seen some being so-called drunk in the spirit & I'm sure many of them woke up with a headache.
Tam,
I probably will hear disagreement about what I am about to say but will say it anyway......
First of all, regarding Jesus turning water into wine before His time had come...He had complete faith that He could turn it. Faith and understanding was required by Jesus as well as the rest of us.
Also, I think we need to consider the Words of the Lord.....
6 And the Lord said, “Behold, they are one people, and they have all one language, and this is only the beginning of what they will do. And nothing that they propose to do will now be impossible for them. 7 Come, let us go down and there confuse their language, so that they may not understand one another’s speech.”
The Holy Bible : English Standard Version. Wheaton : Standard Bible Society, 2001, S. Ge 11:7
Also we need to consider the different times in the Bible that God started the ball rolling in various situation by the action of a man. Adam gave his rule over the earth to Satan. Noah built the ark (through obedience to God) starting the flood. David slew Goliath because he had faith that God was on his side. Joshua brought down the walls of Jericho (among other things) by obey God completely. The list is a long one.
God has always moved through the faith of man. He is doing it still today.
Regarding Solomon and the amount of gold he accumulated in one year....Solomon asked God for wisdom. With his wisdom he acquired great wealth. He had been told not to multiply horses or wives....but he did both. So when I see the verses Colby posted, I am reminded that Solomon didn't always obey God.
Six is the number of man. The Bible tells us that. In Revelation, when it says that man is the number 666, to me it means that it represent the antichrist, the false prophet, and Satan himself.
The tribulation will be triggered by man uniting this world (one world government).
Hope this helps and doesn't confuse.
Blessings.....
Rita
