8 When the Most High divided their inheritance to the nations,
When He separated the sons of Adam,
He set the boundaries of the peoples
According to the number of the children of Israel.
9 For the LORD’s portion is His people;
Jacob is the place of His inheritance.
10 “He found him in a desert land
And in the wasteland, a howling wilderness;
He encircled him, He instructed him,
He kept him as the apple of His eye.
11 As an eagle stirs up its nest,
Hovers over its young,
Spreading out its wings, taking them up,
Carrying them on its wings,
We are the apple of His eye-
Zechariah 2:8:
For thus saith the LORD of hosts; After the glory hath he sent me unto the nations which spoiled you: for he that toucheth you toucheth the apple of his eye
We are cherished by our Lord above other creations.
We are his creation, the highest in fact, far above the trees, plants and animals, in his own image, if you have a child, think about the love you have for them, and as hard as it is to believe, Gods love exceeds your love for your child, so of course, he would do anything within his power to regain our allegiance, and fellowship.
This is why I think and I know why Jesus Christ Loves us so much? Because He left His home in Heaven with all its beauty and glory and chose to live among us here on earth and willingly die for us so we can go and live with Him, rise with Him as He rose.
