James 4:5 and Matthew 25:40

¹⁴Whereas ye know not what shall be on the morrow. For what is your life? It is even a vapour, that appeareth for a little time, and then vanisheth away.

I don't know if it's the Holy Spirit or just my conconous (sp)/me thinking. But, this certain man has been on my mind. I wrote in my journal the day I seen him. March 19th 2012. Anyways, I remember out in front of a convient store. I think mom went over to a place across the street and my cousion and uncle were in the convient/out (I can't really remember that too well).

There he was. He swore like a sailor and I think may have been drunk. I think the Holy Spirit was trying to get me to look at sinners more that day.

Anyway, a few days ago, the same uncle said they found the guys body I think in the water. It's weird. You see some stranger and don't think much of it. And, less than a month later (and knowing that he sat next to me)...less than a month later he's dead.

⁴⁰And the King shall answer and say unto them, Verily I say unto you, Inasmuch as ye have done it unto one of the least of these my brethren, ye have done it unto me.

On April, I think it was the 13th, I remember seeing a homeless man laying in the grass. I seen three other people, don't know if they were homeless and I seen a homeless guy sleeping by the libary.

I think the Holy Spirit is showing me what other people go through instead of just seeing it on t.v. I knew people were homeless but actually seeing it in person...that's hard on a person.

What's that have to do with that verse? Well, people like that homeless guy, whatever we do to people like him we do it unto Jesus. I don't know if it's just me or what. But, actually seeing it for yourself, that leaves a bigger impact...God understands that too.

It's one thing to read scripture, but it's another thing when God literally lets it come alive, like in those two scriptures did for me.
