What would you do if someone exhibited inappropriate behavior towards you?

And, what if the person was a Christian and knew you were a Christian?

What if the person was in a leadership position of a church?

(Mat 18:15)  "If your brother sins against you, go and tell him his fault, between you and him alone. If he listens to you, you have gained your brother.

(Mat 18:16)  But if he does not listen, take one or two others along with you, that every charge may be established by the evidence of two or three witnesses.

(Mat 18:17)  If he refuses to listen to them, tell it to the church. And if he refuses to listen even to the church, let him be to you as a Gentile and a tax collector.

 

It is not always the easy thing, but is the right thing to do.

In my honest opinion, the higher in rank of responsibility someone has been given in the kingdom for God, the less tolerance they should be given. They should be  an example of how we should live.

 

If this is a personal question, my prayers go out to you for wisdom and discernment in this situation.

Most often a professing christian by lips and position in the church is not the bases that they would exhibit a appropriate behavior in bad and difficult times. The natural human behavior is impulsive, correct me on this if i'm wrong. Even sometimes in any mature christian responses we will be able to see and feel a inappropriate behavior.

Extra grace in the pocket is really needed by every christian. Human is naturally sinful, selfish, etc.

I'm agreable with LT on his post but before or after that;

LOVE is always the best counter appropriate behavior for the bad responses... tnx...just IMHO
