All About GOD - Growing Relationships with Jesus and Others

Hello,

I am soon to be 17 years old, and I have a crush on a girl. She is in the same class as me at school, and in the same church. I have been loving her since I first saw here for almost 4 years ago. (My feelings have of course been up and down sometimes) I doubt she know how I feel, but I doubt even more that she feels the same for me. I think of her way to much, and my grades have probably been worse because of that. I want her to be where I am, and I feel jealous whenever an another person have good contact with her. I hope that I can be able to be happy as long as she is happy.

I don't want to be in a relationship with anyone, before we both are sure that marriage is the goal, so that is clear. Therefore I think I have to get know her even better, before I can tell her how I feel. I sometimes talk to her, and even sometimes I feel we have a nice connection. But one of my best friends have had the same feelings for her as me, and after many conversations with her, and my friend really believing she was interested in a relationship too, he asked her if she wanted a relationship, and she said no. (Hope you understand what I tried to tell)

I guess there are many husbands and wifes in this forum who can help me. I wonder what God and the Bible says about why a person get in love with a person like me? Is it because God is showing me that she actually is my future wife and he's going to make that happen in a miraculous way? Or is it just my feelings who get in control, and that it is just that I love that I think I love her?

Thank you so much for any answer, especially Bible verses. I am in desperate need for answers. When I just imagine holding her hands my heart is singing... But I want even more to serve God.

David.

My dear sister Serena,

By considering her as a chapter in his book, do you mean that he should have many more chapters after this girl?

I think it's very romantic and honourable if a person finds the love of his/her life and stay together in christ until their dying days. Try and find spiritual love rather than a fleshy one. I know which one would last longer.
Good word Imperator. Lord bless you!
awww Imperator good word love filled and all Godliness :) <3

This discussion is full of love of God not that others aren't tho.... it's just every time I come back to this discussion my heart gets all jumpy in the Lord lol God's love is awesome :) <3
Hola senor Velasquez,

Come esta?

Earlier in your posts you said that anything outside of scripture is not to be trusted.

You speak in forked tongue amigo.
Hola Senor Velasquez,

Sorry I've posted the answer in the wrong forum, it was meant for burial or cremation. Previously, you said that anything outside of the bible is not kosher, now you admit cremation is man made and it's ok for u.
The Hebrew word kosher means fit or proper as it relates to kosher dietary law. Kosher foods are permitted to be eaten, and can be used as ingredients in the production of additional food items.

I have no idea what you are talking about. The discussion about cremation or burial is not about dietary laws, so unless you can show me (by quoting me in context) in the correct discussion what you are talking about, I say this case is adjourned. :)

The Lord bless you abundantly Imperator.
Okay, some new updates.

I talked to the girl today when walking from the school to the bus stop (about 5 minutes walk) and on the bus home (about 15 minutes). First we just talked about how it had been the last week and etc, but on the bus I asked her if we could talk later privately after the church tonight. She said said she had plans to visit a friend right after the church. Then I say "Okay, we don't have to do it, it is not so important" and then she insisted on that we could right after the church before she leaves. So tonight's the night. I will be there, but I think I will let her contact me tonight. If she "forgets it", I guess that just a way of saying that she does not want to talk.
Ok - This is not a dating site, a smooth jazz station and nor am I the Love doctor hahahaha

But I will share the following with you and pray no one here is offended by the liberty I am taking in sharing my thoughts with you. This is a sensitive topic in such a large community, because we have a part of the family that may not agree with dating etc...

Here it goes tho young man.

Nooooo dude! Don't do it, don't let her contact you. You are to be the initiator by God's designed, so approach her bro. If you guys are going to talk, let it be you who initiates. Keeping in mind that God is the One that brought Eve to Adam. So if things get in the way don't push the issue.

You know what would be great, ok, check it out man.

When you have approach her and got through the "Hello's" ask her if it's ok to pray with her briefly before you share your heart with her. It does not matter if you are in public. You can tell her that is fine if she wants to keep her eyes open while you pray, just in case she is uncomfortable with that.

Then after a brief prayer where you ask the Lord to guide your words speak from the heart and all should be well that starts well. Do pray also before you approach her. Ok Dave - the Lord bless you. Ohhh and please don't ask her to marry you next week hahaahahaha J/K man.

The Lord bless you young man

Haha, I wish I had read the advices before, but probably because of time difference in Norway. I didn't talk to her tonight. I started talking with an another guy, and then I went to the preaching room with two other guys. I should definitely be the one to take initiative. Anyway I will probably get a new chance at the Sunday church. I don't know if I would be able to pray with her at first, but I will pray that I will be able to pray :)

Stacey, I love how you type in your reply, it makes me smile :) You have right, I shouldn't give up. Even though I'm pretty sure I know how she feels about me, I can ask about being friends and talk more to each other.

By the way I'm going to be baptized - for my first time - on the biggest TV channel in Norway live on my birthday the 23th May. And tonight at the preach, the preacher spoke just the verbs that I'm going to read when getting baptized! So many coincides! I didn't ask for either my birthday or the TV thing.
lol your made me a little self conscious bout my typing now lol

hahaah i know sometimes i type no as know and is and yea pretty much i just go with the flow

God bless you bro and may all your wishes come true for the Glory of God Amen.

Praise the Lord :) <3

I love you brother David :) <3 in all godliness :) <3
bro dont guess lol know it and have confidence dont give up k and don't settle unless you get a definite answer unless that is what you believe to be your answer to not talk to her anymore if she says she "forgets it" then so be it.

Love ya bro take care and keep it up Jesus is with you :) <3 and God is watching over you and I am cheering you on throughout the whole ride in this day of your life Amen.
