Hi frnds help me out in knowing, How God values our heart desires? Is telling our desires to God is wrong?Whatever is happening in our life is preplanned by God?
You may desire all you want but in truth God wants you to only desire Him. He wants you to be happy of course, but deep within your heart he knows what will grant you eternal happiness :) He wants us to value the Christian living lifestyle not living in sin anymore and living in righteousness and truth. He looks to our worldly heart desires and plans for a way that will draw us closer to him in alignment with what you asked for, why does he do this? its because he loves you and he wants you to be happy, sometimes the things we asked for are denied because it is not meant for the plan already set by him. He gives you the liberty of choosing what your heart desires, but in all hopes that you will realize he is the only one that can fulfill the desires of the heart. Once we surrender all our heart desires of this world and accept only Jesus Christ as the one who can fulfill our heart desires then we will still live in a thirst for more love from Jesus Christ found in the word of God, fellowship, and other righteous things that bring Glory to God. Therefore it is important to make sure Jesus Christ is the only desire in our heart :) <3
In the bible its says
Corinthians Chapter 10:3-13
Warning against overconfidence All ate the same spiritual food, and all drank the same spiritual drink, for they drank from a spiritual rock that followed them, and the rock was Christ. Yet God was not pleased with most of them, for they were struck down in the desert. These things happened as examples for us, so that we might not desire evil things, as they did.And do not become idolaters, as some of them did, as it is written, "The people sat down to eat and drink, and rose up to revel."
Let us not indulge in immortality as some of them did, and twenty -three thousand fell within a single day. Let us not test Christ as some of them did, and suffered death by serpents. Do not grumble as some of them did, and they have been written down as a warning to us, upon whom the end of ages has come. Therefore whoever thinks he is standing sure should take care not to fall. No trial has come to you but what is human. God is faithful and will not let you be tried beyond your strength; but with the trial he will also provide a way out, so that you may be able to bear it.
